Johnny Depp and Amber Heard married in 2015, and their relationship lasted 15 months before they separated and eventually divorced.

They had a lot of publicity after the end of their marriage due to Amber’s op-ed about being a survivor of domestic violence led Johnny to sue her for defamation. Although a UK trial didn’t go in Johnny’s favor, a very highly publicized U.S. trial in 2022 did. The entire trial was streamed all across the world in real time and showed both Amber and Johnny testifying about their tumultuous romance.
