Demi Lovato debuted her new boyfriend, musician Jute$ (real name Jordan Lutes) on August 16, 2022 and the two reportedly got engaged in December 2023. Demi seems so happy in the romance after things didn’t work out with other guys in her past.

She was engaged to actor Max Ehrich but they broke up in 2020. The singer peviously spent six years with actor Wilmer Valderrama from 2010 through 2016, which took her from age 18 to 24. Before that she tried a go at romance with ‘Camp Rock’ co-star Joe Jonas, but it fizzled out due to Demi’s addiction issues. After Wilmer, Demi didn’t date too much. She suffered a near fatal drug overdose in July 2018, and later went on to date her reported sober companion Henri Levy. She even went on a few dates with ‘Bachelorette’ hunk Mike Johnson. Demi Lovato and their then-fiance Max Ehrich looked happy in love on a Beverly Hills shopping trip on July 27, 2020. The couple had a whirlwind romance, falling in love in March and April 2020 while in lockdown together. They got engaged on July 22 on the beach in Malibu, with Demi telling fans in an Instagram post, ‘knew I loved you the moment I met you,’ and that  ‘You make me want to be the best version of myself. I’m honored to accept your hand in marriage.’ The couple ended up calling off the engagement and their romance on Sept. 24, 2020, after a whirlwind six months.

A source told HollywoodLife that year that, “He’s very into her and getting to know her, but he’s concerned with her crazy schedule. He’s a very normal guy and Demi loves that.”

Demi Lovato began dating her reported sober companion Henri Levy in Nov. 2018, shortly after they got out of rehab following a near fatal drug overdose that July. While they showed off plenty of PDA on Instagram, the couple split in March 2019. 

According to Us Weekly, Demi sent herself flowers after the split. “You’re beautiful, you’re loved, and you’re worthy of a happy and healthy life,” she wrote via Instagram stories at the time.

She’s been there for me when I needed her. I will continue to be her friend and be there for her.” 

That certainly still appears to be true.
