Bondi has been a major name for the GOP for years. See photos of her from then and now.

After he was re-elected in 2024, Donald Trump nominated former Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi to be the next U.S. attorney general in 2025, and the Senate confirmed her. While she has kept her personal life out of the spotlight, Bondi has been a major voice for the GOP for years.

After becoming Florida’s first female AG, she went on to support trump in his 2016 election. The two have been friends for years, though, which Trump pointed out while nominating Bondi after Matt Gaetz withdrew his AG bid.
