Jessica Chastain was among the many stars arriving at the 80th Venice International Film Festival in early September, 2023. The festival in iconic Venice, Italy, takes place annually and highlights some of the very best films, their casts, and directors, as they debut their works before wide releases. 

It’s also a showcase for some of the most jaw-dropping, memorable, and sometimes even downright bad fashions as the stars line up for a chance to be photographed on the red carpet. 

Here, the luminous Oscar winning actress Jessica Chastain is seen arriving for the ‘Memory’ premiere on September 08, 2023. Hands down, the radiant red-headed beauty has already established herself as one of the most stunning looks of the entire festival. She swept onto the world stage in a Gucci custom rose gold and bronze plunging gown with an open collar and elegant long sleeves. 

She finished the jaw-dropping look with gorgeous chandelier earrings and a rose gold makeup pallette that complimented the entire ensemble beautifully.

Maggie, however, didn’t exactly wow in an awkwardly waisted black sheath dress with military-style fringes at the shoulders. Still, she looked gorgeous in a glam makeup palette and simple accessories. And we’re big fans of her autum-ready maroon manicure.

And while the white gloves had the potential to look “off” with the scarlet red gown, she pulled it all together with a dramatic matching choker necklace.

On the plus side, he wore a pair of chic shades and shiny black loafers for a stylish overall appearance.

Maja Malnar arrives for the ‘Enea’ premiere in Venice, Italy on Sept. 5, 2023. Layers of pink tulle aren’t exactly subtle, and though the muted shade of rose pink offsets Maja’s flawless complextion, we found the look to be somewhat overdone. 

Her stunning diamond necklace and duster earrings, and simple tennis bracelet, are perfect accessories.

Nieves Alvarez poses on the red carpet at the ‘Enea’ Premiere in Venice on Sept. 5, 2023. Her white, one-shouldered look with a deep slit had a bit of a dated glare. But since it all drew the eyes down to her incredible white stiletto heels, we’re inclined to forgive the misstep. 

An eye-popping diamond necklace was the perfect finishing touch to the bridal-white look.

We’re generally big fans of the couture women’s pantsuit for red carpets, but Nina’s cold shoulder, no-jacket, half-tennis-skirt look with slide sandals simply isn’t working. We’d suggest it for a lunch at the beach, not an international film festival.
