Disney is gifting us with so much holiday cheer! Disney Parks Magical Christmas Parade airs Dec. 25th. Let’s look back at The Wonderful World of Disney: Magical Holiday Celebration special from November 25 to preview what’s in store for Christmas!

‘Wonderful World of Disney’ Holiday Special

‘Wonderful World of Disney’ Holiday Special — The holiday season is in full swing! ‘The Wonderful World of Disney: Magical Holiday Celebration’ aired Nov. 28 on ABC, kicking off Christmastime with lights and song.

And Disney will entertain again once more on Dec. 25, Christmas Day, when the ‘Disney Parks Magical Christmas Parade’ airs.

Derek Hough and Julianne Hough returned as this year’s hosts, along with ‘West Side Story’ star Ariana DeBose. The special featured star-studded performances from celebrities like Gwen Stefani, Jimmie Allen, Kristin Chenoweth, Darren Criss, Brett Eldredge, Norah Jones, Sebastián Yatra, and more. This year’s ‘Magical Holiday Celebration’ was extra special because it commemorated 50 years of Walt Disney World Resort.

Derek and Julianne will return to host the ‘Disney Parks Magical Christmas Parade,’ special, where they’ll host from Walt Disney World Resort, while Freeform’s Trevor Jackson and Sherry Cola will host from the Disneyland Resort in California. The crew will be celebrating the return of the beloved tradition of the Christmas morning parade.

‘Disney Parks Magical Christmas Parade’ airs on Saturday, December 25, 10am to 12pm ET/PT on ABC and will be available to stream the next day on Hulu.

Julianne Hough & Ariana DeBose — Julianne Hough and Ariana DeBose served as hosts of the special along with Derek Hough. Julianne and Ariana also sang a medley of holiday songs and they’ll be back for the Dec. 25 parade special.

Darren Criss — Darren Criss is bringing ‘Crissmas’ to Disneyland! The singer performed a “Happy Holidays / The Holiday Season” medley at the event.

He’ll do “Christmas Dance” during the ‘Disney Parks Magical Christmas Day Parade’ special.

Kristin Chenoweth

Kristin Chenoweth — Kristin Chenoweth sparkled during the ABC specials. She performed a “(Everyone’s Waitin’ For) The Man with the Bag” and “Jingle Bell Rock” mash-up.

She’ll sing “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” during the ‘Disney Parks Magical Christmas Day Parade’ special.

Gwen Stefani

Gwen Stefani — Gwen Stefani wowed with wardrobe changes during the Disney special. She slipped into this ‘Alice in Wonderland’-themed look for her performance.

She’ll perform her own song “Cheer for the Elves” at the ‘Disney Parks Magical Christmas Day Parade’ special.

Chance the Rapper — Chance the Rapper hit the stage during the Disney special. He was one of the many performers of the special.

He’ll take the stage with “Who’s To Say” during the Christmas Parade special.

Brett Eldredge — Brett Eldredge looked dapper for his holiday performance. He performed “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year.”

He’ll sing the classic “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer” on Saturday.

Julianne and brother Derek will do “Rockin’ Around The Christmas Tree” during the Christmas Day parade special.

Norah Jones — Norah Jones graced audiences with her presence during the special. She sang “Christmas Calling (Jolly Jones)” and “Blue Christmas” as a medley.

Norah will croon the Chuck Berry classic “Run Rudolph Run” during the ‘Disney Parks Magical Christmas Day Parade’ special.
