Hi, Does anyone know if it is default behaviour that when you create a Teams meeting only external participants receive an email notification for the meeting? Currently when a meeting is created, internal organisation participants have the meeting added to their Microsoft Calendar but do not get an email notification. Is there a policy that needs to be changed to allow this behaviour? I thought this would have been the default way it would be done. I'm a project manager. When using MS Windows Explorer and creating project folders, there are many times where I need to create a shortcut within a specific folder to view other files in another folder that's in a different location within Explorer. It's quite easy to create a shortcut to a file/folder then copy that shortcut over to my specific location. But my new company wants all project related files kept in Teams. So there is a Photos and Videos folder that's in the root directory so that all photos for all projects can easily be found. Then, I have a Project Job Number specific folder that has a folder within that is for just my projects. I don't want to replicate the files in two locations for many obvious reasons. Is there a way create a link from my pics folder in the root, to my pics folder in the job specific folder? Thanks.9.5KViews1like4CommentsHow to COMPLETELY delete / unistall Teams
I have an issue with the New Teams. In the old Teams I had access to a guest account and could easily switch. After updating to New Teams - the account that get shown has a combination of the guest org and my own org. I have no way to switch to the guest account. Then when I log out I see a list of other accounts I have used in the past. These are not guest accounts but actual login accounts. I don't have access to them anymore and they are not listed as organisations I'm a member of. I have uninstalled Teams, deleted cache several time but I can not get everything deleted! I have created a new windows profile to test and the issue does not appear there. (not the solution I want) So how do I COMPLETELY DELETE / UNISTALL Teams? I want everything gone from my work profile so I can get a clean install that works.309KViews1like12CommentsNative Teams Phone - Background Image

Is there any foreseen capabilities in Team's channel which could act as a forum ? So, create a Forum channel type would be perfect, and here is why: 1. Within Teams, it is commonly to find use-cases where a community drops some issues, questions and so on, and being able to : - pin discussions/communications - set tags and filter them - Mark as solved (which may help others, and save ans best answer) sort based on people following would be a perfect integrations. looking forward to see the answers.48Views1like3CommentsConnect teams and old Skype name
Hey there! Glad to see the consumer Skype to Teams interoperability is working, I really appreciate that feature! My question is how do I contact a Skype user who hasn't set up an email address? Old Skype users simply have a username, and some of them haven't connected a Microsoft account. Is there a way to contact them through Teams? Thanks for any help you can offer.1.2KViews1like3CommentsCannot login to Teams on iphone
Hi All, I am using Teams with a personal Microsoft account (Microsoft 365 family plan). I am successfully signed into Teams on my Mac computer and can use if with no problems. However, I cannot sign into the app with the account on the iphone app. After entering my password or going through Authenticator, I receive a message: No Teams orgs yet Looks like you're not using Teams yet. Check that you've been invited by the org you're trying to sign in to. You can also set up Teams for your org by selecting Create new account. I have already searched extensively but couldn't find any solutions that worked. Have uninstalled and reinstalled the app multiple times. I am on am iphone 16 pro with the latest version of ios installed. Any ideas? Thanks.582Views1like3CommentsHow To Use The Microsoft Teams Inspection App
In this Microsoft Teams tutorial, I demonstrate how to use the Microsoft Teams Inspection App. This is a sample app developed by Microsoft built on the Power Platform and it's intended to demonstrate the extensibility of Microsoft Teams when you use Microsoft Power Apps and Microsoft Power Automate and Dataverse to build solutions. This app is a fantastic and simple tool that can be used (for free with M365 licensing) to facilitate inspections, walkthroughs, etc. I've received a lot of questions and positive comments about this on since posting the tutorial on my channel and I look forward to hearing your thoughts about it. My Teams status is constantly changing to "Busy" or "in a meeting", regardless of whether I am actually in a meeting. I have to manually set it back to "available" throughout the day. I have read that this is caused by the status being set based on calendar meetings rather than whether I am actually on a call. Is there any way to have the status set based on when my actual Teams calls begin and end?Solved106KViews2likes3Comments
