I would like to remove unwanted Windows 11 apps that is not productive to users like Solitaire, News, Xbox etc... so, I wrote a powershell script to do this and it is not running and executing properly, even though I tried running the same PS script on a regular desktop which works. So, my thoughts are, is there a way to do this in Intune by selecting applications through CSP and removing it for all devices that is in Intune and Azure AD joined or if you even have a better script that would do the job by running it through Intune, I would appreciate if you could provide one. Thanks in advance.Solved83KViews0likes7CommentsMaking my business app (formerly in the MS Business Store available in Intune
Hi guys. I have a business Windows App. It was available in the MS Business Store. It was linked to various organisations which used it via an organisation identifier. One organisation is saying that new users can no longer download the App as it isn't in their organisations Intune. How do you make it available, or do I have to provide them with the files and they make it happen locally? I'd be most grateful for any help. I have limited knowledge of this area. Good day, was hoping I could get help with requiring setting up fingerprints on android to login to apps and Microsoft authenticator. Is this possible. I feel like it would be easier for a employee to setup without additional help if they just have to use one automatically instead of having to figure out how to setup a work fingerprint on their android by going into the settings themselves. Also for security issues in case someone is in public. That way they automatically require a fingerprint rather than typing in their password if there are prying eyes around. Even if it is not public, but just in the office, would be more secure so they don't have to put their password on their phone in around other employees. Is this a setting to setup in intune at all?2Views0likes0CommentsAutopilot and Device Setup - Apps
Having issues installing Apps during the Autopilot Device Setup stage. Currently there are four apps trying to install and at least one is failing. I have worked that the following applications were failing: Microsoft 365 Apps for Education Company Portal Is there a way to skip application setup/install at this stage? Also how would I only have rules applied to Autopilot devices but not other users, devices, personal, etc.... and then later apply to the user/staff member who will be using the device?66Views0likes2CommentsHow can I get the Operating System Build Number for an Android device in Intune
Hello all, I am trying to pull information about an Android devices Operating System Build Number from Intune using PowerShell, however - the closest information I can find is the Operating System Version. I've been successful in connecting to Microsoft Graph via PowerShell, and I'm certain I have permissions to access all the device information. However, I cannot find information about how to pull the data I'm looking for. Google suggested that I need to include 'hardwareInformation' as an ExtendProperty of Get-MgManagedDeviceManagedDevices but I receive an error stating: "Parsing OData Select and Expand failed: Could not find a property named 'hardwareInformation' on type 'microsoft.graph.managedDevice'" Can someone please help me find how to select the Operating System Build Number from Intune or MgGraph? I've included an image of the exact data I'm looking for as it shows up in Intune26Views0likes0CommentsManaged Home Screen - Volume Control
Hey everyone, I'm hitting a bit of a wall with an Android kiosk dedicated device setup using Intune and the Managed Home Screen app, and I'm hoping someone here might have some insights. The setup is mostly working great, but I've run into a specific issue regarding volume control. Within the Managed Home Screen, users are only able to adjust the media volume. They have no control over the call volume or notification volume. This is problematic for our use case, as users occasionally need to adjust these other volume levels. I've dug through the Intune policies extensively, but I can't seem to find any specific setting or configuration profile that exposes these volume controls within the Managed Home Screen environment. Has anyone encountered this before? Is there a known way to enable users to change call and notification volumes on an Android dedicated device with Managed Home Screen, either directly through Intune policies or perhaps via a custom configuration or OEMConfig? I'm truly at my wits' end with this one, so any suggestions or workarounds would be hugely appreciated! Thanks in advance for your help. Looking for some assistance regarding the 'PushLaunch' & 'PushRenewal' tasks. For some reason, both of these task's seem to disappear from our client machines. All our devices are Hybrid AAD Joined & are co-managed. From what I've been able to gather, people who have encountered this issue before have had the 'dmwappushservice' disabled. This is currently set on our devices to "Automatic (Delayed Start, Trigger Start)" Is this normal behaviour? Thanks, Jamie28KViews1like16Comments
