The goth glam makeup trend has been picking up speed this season, with black eyeliner, smoky shadow and dark lips. It’s a lot like what folks wore in the ’90s but a bit more elevated with different textures and shades. Take Gigi Hadid’s gray lipstick, for example. The supermodel hit up the CFDA Awards last week in all Thom Browne, a faux septum piercing and a gorgeous take on goth glam makeup. “Her villain era,” she wrote on Instagram.

Patrick Ta was responsible for Hadid’s makeup and we’re sure he used a lot of his own line on the star. (Laura Polko was on hair.) Ta didn’t reveal th$10.e exact details of what products he used. But the model, being the beauty girl she is, spilled what lipstick she’s wearing on Instagram Stories and it’s a seriously affordable find. The Maybelline New York spokeswoman wore the brand’s Super Stay Matte Ink Liquid Lipstick in Huntress ($10.44 at Amazon), a really pretty muted gray.

If black or dark wine lipstick colors aren’t your jam, this cool gray shade is the perfect way to get into the glam goth look. And if you know the Super Stay Matte Ink Liquid Lipstick formula, you know how ultra-pigmented it is and how long it stays put, even through eating and drinking. In fact, it stays on so long, you might need Maybelline SuperStay Eraser Lip Color Remover ($5.16 at Walmart) to get it all off. We’ve found an oil cleanser works well, too.

How ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’ Wrote Out T’Challa After Chadwick Boseman’s Death https://stylecaster.com/chadwick-boseman-black-panther-wakanda-forever/ https://stylecaster.com/chadwick-boseman-black-panther-wakanda-forever/#respond Fri, 11 Nov 2022 22:23:15 +0000 https://stylecaster.com/?p=1340711 The character of King T’Challa, the Black Panther, appeared in four Marvel Cinematic Universe films including his own origin story Black Panther, so when the actor that played him died in 2020, there was a big question as to how filmmakers would tackle his absence. With the release of the sequel, many fans are wondering: Is Chadwick Boseman in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever? And if not, how would they honor his character’s memory?

Boseman reportedly received the script for Wakanda Forever merely two weeks before he passed away from Stage 4 colon cancer at age 43 on August 28, 2020. But according to the sequel’s director, Ryan Coogler, the star was too tired to read it. In a story for Variety, the Wakanda Forever filmmaker Ryan Coogler said Boseman hadn’t read the script for the Black Panther sequel because his battle with cancer had exhausted him. “He hadn’t read it,” Coogler said. “I found out later he was … “I can write this,” he says finally. “It’s harder for me to say it.” The note, according to Variety, essentially said that Boseman was “too tired” to read the script. “That’s what was going on,” said Coogler. So how was Chadwick Boseman written out of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever? Read on to find out how the filmmakers paid homage to this very special actor.

Is Chadwick Boseman in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever?

Is Chadwick Boseman in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever? The short answer is kind of. The film deals with Boseman’s real-life death by having T’Challa succumb to a mysterious illness within the film. Shuri (Letitia Wright), his genius half-sister, tries desperately to save her brother by attempting to reinvigorate the Heart-Shaped Herb—the plant that grants Black Panther powers to whoever consumes it —but T’Challa passes before she can solve the equation.

Marvel Studios.

Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige said in a statement at the time of Boseman’s death, that “Chadwick’s passing is absolutely devastating. He was our T’Challa, our Black Panther, and our dear friend. Each time he stepped on set, he radiated charisma and joy, and each time he appeared on screen, he created something truly indelible. He embodied a lot of amazing people in his work, and nobody was better at bringing great men to life. He was as smart and kind and powerful and strong as any person he portrayed. Now he takes his place alongside them as an icon for the ages. The Marvel Studios family deeply mourns his loss, and we are grieving tonight with his family.”

How was Chadwick Boseman written out of Black Panther?

Warning: Black Panther: Wakanda Forever spoilers ahead. How was Chadwick Boseman written out of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever? He wasn’t really, in fact, his death and the family’s grief play a central role in the plot, particularly for his sister, Shuri. That anguish was real for the cast members who were mourning the loss of Boseman and they channeled those emotions onto the screen. “The challenge was just being vulnerable with what we were feeling and stepping into Wakanda without our King, which is one of the most difficult things we could’ve done,” Wright told Bet.com. “As I felt that difficulty, I allowed that to pour into Shuri—when you’re hit with losing someone, the inner circle feels it first before it starts to get to the outer circle. The people who love T’Challa the most would feel it, so I allowed what I felt to pour into Shuri and for us to follow her journey into womanhood.”

In the opening credits, Marvel usually features all MCU characters in a flip-book graphic, but for this film, it was all Boseman in the first instance of the production studio honoring his memory. In one of the final scenes where Shuri burns her funeral robes to close that chapter of mourning for her brother, there’s a montage of Boseman’s scenes from previous films portrayed as Shuri’s memories.

In an interview with Empire magazine in 2022, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige explained why the studio decided to not recast T’Challa after Boseman’s death. “It just felt like it was much too soon to recast,” he said. “Stan Lee always said that Marvel represents the world outside your window. And we had talked about how, as extraordinary and fantastical as our characters and stories are, there’s a relatable and human element to everything we do. The world is still processing the loss of Chad. And [director] Ryan [Coogler] poured that into the story.” He continued, “The conversations were entirely about, yes, ‘What do we do next?’ And how could the legacy of Chadwick — and what he had done to help Wakanda and the Black Panther become these incredible, aspirational, iconic ideas — continue? That’s what it was all about.”

Feige expanded on this point in an interview with Deadline in 2021, explaining that there would be no CGI T’Challa in the sequel to Black Panther either: “So much of the comics and that first movie is the world of Wakanda. Wakanda is a place to further explore with characters and different subcultures. This was always and initially the primary focus of the next story. We’re not going to have a CG Chadwick and we’re not recasting T’Challa.”

He continued: “Ryan Coogler is working very hard right now on the [Wakanda Forever] script with all the respect and love and genius that he has, which gives us great solace, so it was always about furthering the mythology and the inspiration of Wakanda. There’s also the task of honoring and respecting the ongoing learnings and teachings from Chad as well.”

Producer Nate Moore also explained why T’Challa wasn’t recast in a 2021 interview on The Ringer-Verse podcast. “We just couldn’t do it,” he said. “When Chad passed, it was a real conversation we had with [director Ryan] Coogler about what do we do, and it was a fast conversation,” Moore said. “I think we all feel so much of T’Challa in the MCU on the screen – not in comics – is tied to Chadwick’s performance, is what he brought to that role both on and off-screen.” He added that the most difficult challenge of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever was how to tell “a story without T’Challa.” He continued, “[There will be a] level of … catharsis in people coming back this universe without that guy because that guy and that universe to me are one in the same”.

As a result, Shuri takes over the Black Panther mantle in Wakanda Forever in a scene that had cinema audiences cheering in their seats. Having figured out the solution to bringing the Heart-Shaped Herb back, Shuri visits the Ancestral Plane and wakes up with the superhero powers of the Black Panther coursing through her veins. “Letitia was hired because she, No. 1, was a great actor, but No. 2, she provided a levity to the film,” the president of Marvel Studios Kevin Feige told Variety. “Now the entire weight of the movie and of the kingdom of Wakanda was on her shoulders in the next movie in a way that obviously no one expected.”

Whether Shuri will carry on as the Black Panther in future films is unclear, but those on the creative side are open to exploring the African nation as much as they can. Wakanda Forever producer Nate Moore told Variety plenty of ideas were floating around as to where to take the Wakandan story next. “This world is expansive, and there are so many great characters,” Moore says. “Beyond what happens with this film, there are more opportunities to go back to Wakanda.”

In an emotional post-credits scene, it’s revealed T’Challa and Nakia had a son, born shortly after the Blip. He’s introduced to his aunt Shuri as Toussaint, which is his Haitian name. His Wakandan name is T’Challa, son of T’Challa. This leaves the possibility open for a T’Challa to continue to exist in the MCU. It’s also a lovely tribute to the late Boseman.

Black Panther is available to stream on Disney Plus. Here’s how to watch it for free.

Letitia Wright’s Net Worth Reveals How Much She Made For ‘Black Panther 2’ Compared to Other MCU Stars https://stylecaster.com/letitia-wright-net-worth/ https://stylecaster.com/letitia-wright-net-worth/#respond Fri, 11 Nov 2022 22:15:06 +0000 https://stylecaster.com/?p=1340623 As the new lead of the Black Panther movies, it’s understandable why fans are curious about Letitia Wright’s net worth and how much she makes as Princess Shuri in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Wright, whose full name is Letitia Michelle Wright, was born on October 31, 1993, in Georgetown, Guyana. Her family moved to London, England, when she was seven years old. She made her on-screen debut in 2011 in the BBC show Holby City. She went on to star in shows like Top Boy and Chasing Shadows and movies like Urban Hymn and The Commuter before her big break as Princess Shuri in 2018’s Black Panther. “I hope that Shuri opens up a new way of thinking for young girls in terms of careers and subjects in the academic world. I wish I watched movies like Hidden Figures when I was a kid, and maybe I would’ve taken science classes super seriously, because I saw myself,” Wright told Teen Vogue in 2018 of playing Shuri. “I can only hope that Shuri can encourage a lot of girls to be a part of subjects in school like science and math and technology.” She continued, “She has these titles to her name — princess of Wakanda, scientist, engineer — but she’s still able to relate to people. She’s still a normal kid that would want to go to Coachella or follow memes online.”

Wright became the lead of Black Panther‘s sequel, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, in 2022 after the death of her co-star, Chadwick Boseman, who played T’Challa / Black Panther, in 2020. “The challenge was just being vulnerable with what we were feeling and stepping into Wakanda without our King, which is one of the most difficult things we could’ve done,” she told BET at the time of leading the Black Panther franchise after Boseman’s death. “As I felt that difficulty, I allowed that to pour into Shuri — when you’re hit with losing someone, the inner circle feels it first before it starts to get to the outer circle. The people who love T’Challa the most would feel it, so I allowed what I felt to pour into Shuri and for us to follow her journey into womanhood.” Read on for what we know about Letitia Wright’s net worth and how much she’s made from the Black Panther movies.

How much does Letitia Wright make for the Black Panther movies?

"Black Panther: Wakanda Forever"

How much does Letitia Wright make for the Black Panther movies? Wright has starred as Princess Shuri, the younger sister of King T’Challa / Black Panther, in four Marvel Cinematic Universe movies: 2018’s Black Panther and Avengers: Infinity War; 2019’s Avengers: Endgame; and 2022’s Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. The first Black Panther movie grossed more than $700 million in North America and $646.9 million overseas for a worldwide total of $1..347 billion. At the time of its release, the movie held the records for the highest-grossing solo superhero movie, the third-highest-grossing movie of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the ninth-highest-grossing movie of all time. (It’s since been surpassed for all records.) It was also the fifth Marvel Cinematic Universe movie to surpass the $1 billion mark and the first film in the franchise to be nominated for Best Picture at the Oscars.

So…what does Letitia Wright make for the Black Panther movies? While Wright’s exact salary for the first Black Panther movie hasn’t been confirmed, Showbiz Galore reported in 2022 that she made $700,000 for the second Black Panther movie, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, in which she was the lead of after the death of her co-star, Chadwick Boseman, in 2020. In comparison, The Hollywood Reporter reported in 2018 that Boseman made $2 million for his role in the first Black Panther movie.

As for other Marvel Cinematic Universe stars, The Hollywood Reporter reported that Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow), Chris Evans (Captain America) and Chris Hemsworth (Thor) made $15 million each for 2018’s Avengers: Infinity War and 2019’s Avengers: Endgame for a total of $30 million. The magazine also reported that Evans and Hemsworth also made $15 million each for their recent solo Captain America and Thor movies at the time: 2016’s Captain America: Civil War and 2017’s Thor: Ragnarok. The salaries are a lot more than the franchise pays for actors’ first Marvel Cinematic Universe movies. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man) made $500,000 for 2008’s Iron Man. After Iron Man became a success, Downey Jr. made $50 million for 2012’s Avengers, while Johansson, who debuted as Black Widow in 2010’s Iron Man 2, was paid low seven figures. The Hollywood Reporter also reported that Brie Larson (Carol Danvers / Captain Marvel) made $5 million for 2019’s Captain Marvel, which was part of a seven-movie deal.

In an interview with W magazine in 2018, Wright opened up about her audition for Black Panther and how she originally “wasn’t super into it.” “I’ll be honest I wasn’t super into it,” Wright said. “I love indie films so much like I love arthouse films, that’s what gets me going. I can sit down and watch Whiplash like five thousand times, you know? That’s what I love. Black Panther pretty much changed the way I thought about big blockbuster movies. It was like, no you can have blockbuster movies with meaning.”

Wright also recalled meeting Boseman in the audition process and how she immediately fell “in love with” him. “The audition process for Black Panther was super simple at the beginning,” she said. “It was just sending tapes of myself doing some like mock scenes. A month later, I was told they needed me in Los Angeles and Chadwick came in. It was like I found my lost big brother I had never had before. I just kind of fell in love with him as my big brother. Yeah, not a bad chap to fall in love with.” After her audition with Boseman, Wright returned home to London, where she learned she’d booked the role of Shuri. “I went back home to London and I was leaving my house and my agent texted me, as he does, and he’s just like ‘Call me when you can.’ I was like ‘OK, God this is about Black Panther‘ and he’s like ‘You booked the role of Shuri,’” Wright said.

She continued, “I screamed. I was at the bus stop about to get the bus, that’s when life was normal and I could get the bus, I go ‘Yes Jesus! Yeah!’ And people like passing on the road like ‘What is going on with that girl at the bus stop? Like she’s getting a bit rowdy over there.’ And then the bus came and I tapped my Oyster card, which is equivalent to a MetroCard, and I sat there amongst these amazing beautiful people going to the station and I just booked the biggest role of my life.”

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly in 2022, Wright explained how Black Panther changed her life “forever.” “We haven’t seen that on a major scale, where there’s a young Black woman who’s a princess, and she’s also a scientist,” Wright said. “I have this feeling of pride when a young woman comes up to me and says, ‘Hey, you made me feel smart in school, and you made me feel like I can be in technology alongside a man, and I feel empowered.’ That has changed my life forever.” Wright also told Entertainment Weekly about how director Ryan Coogler helped her throughout the filming process of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, which saw Shuri become the lead of the movie after T’Challa’s death. “It was an unfortunate situation that set me back a bit, but in that time, I surrounded myself with family and friends,” Wright said. “Ryan, he was incredibly supportive. And it was a moment for me to gain courage that I never had before and I didn’t know I had.” She continued, “You know when you go through situations, and you’re like, ‘I didn’t know I had this much strength in me until I went through it’? That was my experience. I got the healing that I needed, and I went back on set, and I was determined to not let that limit me,” she says. “I felt like, ‘Oh my goodness, what if I can’t do the things that I’m used to doing?’ But by God’s grace, I made it through, and I came back stronger.”

What is Letitia Wright’s net worth?

What is Letitia Wright’s net worth? Letitia Wright’s net worth is $4 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth. Along with what she made for the Black Panther and Marvel Cinematic Universe movies, Letitia Wright’s net worth also includes her earnings from movies like Ready Player One, Sing 2 and Death on the Nile. In addition to her movie career, Letitia Wright’s net worth also includes money earned from shows like Doctor Who, Humans and Black Mirror, for which she was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award in the Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Limited Series or Movie category in 2018.

In an interview with The Independent in 2021, Wright talked about her success after Black Panther and how it’s affected how she looks at roles. “I’m trying to be truthful and honest about what I can be a vessel for,” she said. “If you don’t feel like you’re the right vessel for a particular project then you shouldn’t do it because you’re wasting everybody’s time.” She continued, “A script will come that will require me to do certain things I don’t want to do, but other people will say, ‘If you do this, it’s going to enhance your career.’ It’s about not moulding to the pressure of what it means to be successful,” she says. “I want to define who I am.”

Who Is Zac Efron Dating Now? Look Back at All His Famous Ex-Girlfriends https://stylecaster.com/zac-efron-dating/ https://stylecaster.com/zac-efron-dating/#respond Fri, 11 Nov 2022 22:09:50 +0000 https://stylecaster.com/?p=1340686 As one of the 2010s’ most popular heartthrobs, fans have been interested in who Zac Efron is dating for years.

Since his debut as Troy Bolton in Disney Channel’s High School Musical franchise in 2006, Efron has dated several famous women, including Lily Collins, Michelle Rodriguez and, of course, his High School Musical co-star (and the second half of Zanessa), Vanessa Hudgens. In an interview with The Sunday Times in 2016, Efron opened up about his struggles with dating in the public eye. “Dating is something I’ll never be able to do,” he said. “As in the dictionary definition of dating, because one way or another I’ve impacted that person’s life and they’ll soon realize it.” He continued, “A date has to be very long to dispel whatever people think about me.”

He also revealed that he didn’t have much luck on Tinder because of how many other profiles thought he was fake. “Amazingly, when I signed up for Tinder, nobody swiped me! They thought it was fake … That never happened,” he said. Efron told Men’s Health in 2022 that he was more focused on “self-fulfillment” than dating at the time. “I’ve really been taking time to focus on, you know, self-fulfilment and trying to find my groove,” he said. “I know that probably when I meet the right person, it’s going to be when I least expect it.”

So who is Zac Efron dating now and who were his past girlfriends? Read on for what we know about Zac Efron’s dating history and his most recent and significant relationships.

Vanessa Valladares (2020 – 2021)

Zac Efron dated Australian model Vanessa Valladares for 10 months from 2020 to 2021. The couple was first linked in September 2020 after Efron and Valladares were photographed on a date in Lennox Head, Australia. A source told People at the time that they met in June 2020 in Byron Bay, Australia, when Efron came into Valladares’ workplace at Byron Bay General Store & Cafe. “Zac met Ness earlier in the summer. They started hanging out in July and recently took a ski trip together,” the insider said. “You can tell that they are having fun. She spends a lot of time at this house.”

A month after news broke of their relationship, Efron and Valladares celebrated Efron’s 33rd birthday together. The actor turned 33 on October 18, 2020. “Zac and Vanessa are very happy. They celebrated Zac’s birthday with friends before the weekend,” a source told People at the time. “Their relationship is very serious. Vanessa lives with Zac in Byron Bay.” After 10 months of dating, Efron and Valladares broke up in April 2021. A source confirmed to People at the time that Efron was the one to end the relationship. “Zac broke things off with Vanessa recently. It just didn’t feel right to him anymore,” the insider said. “Zac will still stay in Australia. He just loves Australia so much. He is working and busy with several upcoming projects. He is happy, healthy and enjoying life.” The news came after Australian radio host Kyle Sandilands, who is close friends with Efron, confirmed on his show, The Kyle and Jackie O Show, that he and Valladares had split. “Well, it’s not just The Daily Telegraph [reporting the breakup],” Sandilands said at the time.  “I can also confirm after speaking with him yesterday. Because I heard the rumors.” He continued, “They’ve gone their separate ways,” he added. ” [There was] no drama. It’s done. He’s back to work.”

Halston Sage (2014, 2020)

Zac Efron and his Neighbors co-star Halston Sage were first linked in April 2014 after they were photographed together at a Los Angeles Lakers game. “They are definitely an item,” a source told E! News at the time. “They were seeing each other a bit during filming of their movie together and ever since he went to rehab they got a lot closer. Her friends love him and say he is so sweet. He’s really good to her.” They seemed to split three months later in July 2014. Efron and Sage reunited in January 2020 after his split from Olympic swimmer Sarah Bro. A source told Us Weekly at the time that Neighbors co-stars were “in a serious relationship and in love.” The insider continued, “They spent the holidays together, with part of that time in Santa Barbara.” The two split some time after.

Sarah Bro (2019 – 2020)

Zac Efron and Danish Olympic swimmer Sarah Bro were first linked in March 2019 after they were photographed together at a UFC fight in March 2019. A source told E! News at the time that  “looked like they were having a great time” but were “not overly publicly affectionate.” The two split in January 2020 before Efron’s relationship with his Neighbors co-star Halston Sage. “The relationship just wasn’t working out,” a source told Us Weekly at the time. “She came back to L.A., and it never got going again.”

In an episode of the podcast “112 For Broken Hearts” in 2021, Bro opened up about a toxic relationship with an actor, who fans believe was Efron. During the interview, Bro revealed that she was a fan of the actor before they started dating, confessing that she had posters of him on her wall as a child. However, it wasn’t until later that she noticed the actor’s “anger” issues as a result of mental health issues and depression he was experiencing at the time. “He has never laid a hand on me, but I think – because I’ve been an elite swimmer, I’ve been used to being shouted at a lot – and that’s something I can not do now. He shouted a lot when he got angry and it made me really scared and I wanted to avoid that. But I think most of all, it was my own inner feeling that I had to fix this,” she said.

Bro revealed that she and the actor broke up after she was at home in Denmark and couldn’t reach the actor, so she flew to the United States to check on him. When she arrived at his door and he didn’t welcome her in, she knew their relationship was over. “At this point, we lived in two places, and I first go up to one house that he was not, then I go up to the other house, and then he opens the door, and then he says,‘ What are you doing? you here? ‘, and I was like,’ What do you mean? ‘ – ‘Yes, I told you not to come back?’. Then I was like, ‘Sorry, what?’ So my heart stopped,” she said.

She went on to accuse the actor of “manipulation” throughout their relationship. , “I had come so far that I hardly knew what was right and wrong. And had been so manipulated and almost brainwashed. But also because I was young, confused and in love, and that I chose to turn a blind eye on purpose,” she said. She continued, ,”It was really hard being boyfriends with someone where I compromised so much with my own boundaries. Eventually, I got so far away from who I really was that I couldn’t recognize myself.”

Sami Miro (2014 – 2016)

Zac Efron, Sami Miro

Zac Efron and model Sami Miro were first linked in October 2014 after they were photographed together. In an interview with Elle in 2015, Miro opened up about what it was like to date Efron in the public eye. “I’ve never spoken about us before, but, um, it’s definitely different,” she said at the time. “I think that you have to take that [kind of attention] with a grain of salt, and put yourself in other people’s positions. I think that’s actually a really big part of it, putting yourself in their shoes, and trying to understand where they’re coming from, and then it kinds of makes sense.” She continued, “It kind of just comes with the territory, and I know there’s no really changing that, so you just have to embrace it. If I was dating someone who wasn’t in the limelight, I might have more photos on [Instagram] of our relationship, but I do think it’s important. I mean, it’s what is going on in my life, and I think that my social can still represent that.”

The two split in April 2016 after two years together. A source told E! News at the time that Efron was the one who broke up with Miro because their “spark had died.” “[They] did not have the same feelings for each other as they did when they first started dating,” the insider said. The source continued, “It wasn’t an easy breakup. Distance and work schedules got in the way with their relationship and Zac wanted to focus on his career.” After their breakup, Miro seemed to slam Efron in a series of since-deleted tweets. “Missed your chance, bye bye” she wrote with the hashtag #iaintsorry. She continued, “Finally ready to talk about it…When you’ve never been happier and he’s still a hot mess.”

Michelle Rodriguez (2014)

Zac Efron and actress Michelle Rodriguez were first linked in July 2014 after they were photographed kissing on a yacht in Sardinia, Italy. Refinery29 reported at the time that the two met through their mutual friend, Italian businessman Gianluca Vacchi. The two broke up a few months later after they had a “huge fight” following their trip to Ibiza, Spain, according to a source for Us Weekly. “Michelle is going to do her own thing,” the insider said at the time, adding that Efron was “very into her, though, and perhaps more than she’s into him.”

A source also told Hollywood Life at the time that Efron’s “addicting personality” often causes him to “fall fast” for women. “Zac has an addicting personality, which rolls over to his women. He invests into something and falls hard — fast,” the insider said. “He really fell hard for Michelle, and she wanted to just have fun and not have a super serious relationship. Plus, Michelle is interested more in women than men — so that was an issue as well.” The source continued, “As great as it would sound to most guys, Zac didn’t want to share her with anyone, especially other women. Things aren’t dead in the water, but Zac has to settle down on falling in love too fast. Michelle is on a completely different wavelength.”

Lily Collins (2012)

Zac Efron and Lilly Collins dated for three months in 2012, seven years before they starred together in 2019’s Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile. “They’re no longer together. They were never serious, though; it was just a casual thing and it fizzled,” a source told Us Weekly of their split in June 2012. “They were never in the same place at the same time.” Another source added, “Zac was never very serious about her. He didn’t talk about her to friends.” A third source claimed that the two split over their busy schedules. “It’s true that their schedules are crazy right now, which isn’t conducive to a relationship being easy,” the insider said.

Vanessa Hudgens (2005 – 2010)

Vanessa Hudgens, Zac Efron

Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens dated for five years after meeting in an audition for High School Musical in 2004. “For all of the partner things, me and Vanessa always got paired up,” Efron said at a press conference for High School Musical 2 in 2007. “I was like, ‘They’re not trying us with other people.’ For some reason we kept sticking around [for callbacks]. I don’t know what it was with Vanessa, but we kind of clicked from the very beginning.”

The two confirmed their relationship in March 2007 after Efron starred as Hudgens’ love interest in her “Say Ok” music video. A representative for Hudgens told AOL at the time that the music video was the couple’s “official coming out.” In an interview with People in 2009, Hudgens denied rumors she and Efron were engaged. “I think [marriage and starting a family] is great but I’m so focused on my career right now that it doesn’t really cross my mind,” she said at the time.

In an interview with Details in August 2010, months before his and Hudgens’ breakup, Efron revealed that he questioned if he should be single. “Yeah, everyone tells me that. I think a lot of guys would enjoy that. But I’m not really like that … I rack my brain thinking, ‘Why am I not out there playing the field?’ One of my buddies was like, ‘You have no idea what’s going on right now.’ … But it’s not in my heart,” he said. News broke of Efron and Hudgens’ breakup in December 2010. “They are 100 percent still good friends,” a source told People at the time. “We’re still friends. Who knows what the future will bring. We’re figuring things out,” Hudgens told Details at the time. She also explained in another interview at the time that long-distance played a role in their relationship. “Long-distance relationships are hard no matter what. When you don’t have face-to-face time, it’s just different. Having an iPhone helped, but it just wasn’t the same,” she said.

In April 2014, Efron revealed that he was no longer in touch with Hudgens. “She was a really interesting, sweet person,” he told The Hollywood Reporter at the time. A year later, Hudgens told The New York Times about how jealousy affected their relationship. “I went through a phase when I was really mean because I was so fed up. Girls were running after him, and I was giving them death stares. Then I realized that’s not what that’s about,” she said. Hudgens also confirmed to Access Hollywood in 2017 that she and Efron no longer spoke. “Oh, yeah, no … That’s not a thing that happens. I completely lost contact with him,” she said. Though the two lost touch, Hudgens expressed “gratitude” for her relationship with Efron in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter in 2019. “I could not have been more grateful to have that relationship at the time … It was this massive phenomenon and [all] eyes were on me. And it’s just a really weird foreign thing to go through, and by being in a relationship, it kind of kept me stabilized and grounded, and I had someone to lean on who was going through it as well,” she said.

Chadwick Boseman’s Net Worth Reveals How Much He Made From ‘Black Panther’ & Who Inherited His Estate https://stylecaster.com/chadwick-boseman-net-worth/ https://stylecaster.com/chadwick-boseman-net-worth/#respond Fri, 11 Nov 2022 22:07:11 +0000 https://stylecaster.com/?p=1194449 Since his death, Marvel fans have wondered about Chadwick Boseman‘s net worth and what happened to his estate after he didn’t leave a will.

Boseman, who has starred in movies like Black Panther, 21 Bridges and Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom, died at the age of 43 on August 28, 2020, after a four-year battle with colon cancer. His family confirmed his death in an Instagram post at the time. “It is with immeasurable grief that we confirm the passing of Chadwick Boseman,” his family said in a statement. “Chadwick was diagnosed with stage III colon cancer in 2016, and battled with it these last 4 years as it progressed to stage IV. ⁣ ⁣A true fighter, Chadwick persevered through it all, and brought you many of the films you have come to love so much. From Marshall to Da 5 Bloods, August Wilson’s Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom and several more, all were filmed during and between countless surgeries and chemotherapy.”

The statement continued, “It was the honor of his career to bring King T’Challa to life in Black Panther. ⁣ He died in his home, with his wife and family by his side. ⁣The family thanks you for your love and prayers, and asks that you continue to respect their privacy during this difficult time.”

According to CNBC, Boseman didn’t leave a will. After his death, his wife, Simone Ledward Boseman, filed probate documents to be an administrator with limited authority over part of Boseman’s estate, which is estimated at $939,000. As CNBC notes, this number isn’t all of Boseman’s estate as his assets are subject to probate, the legal process of administering someone’s estate after death through court intervention. CNBC reports that other accounts, such as life insurance, qualified retirement accounts like 401(k) plans and individual retirement accounts, may also be passed down to a beneficiary. According to the site, as of 2020, up to $11.58 million per person can be passed on tax-free to heirs.

So how much was Chadwick Boseman’s net worth and what did he make as one of Marvel’s most successful movie stars? Read on to find out.

What was Chadwick Boseman’s Black Panther salary?

What was Chadwick Boseman’s Black Panther salary? Boseman starred in four Marvel movies before his death: 2016’s Captain America: Civil War, 2018’s Black Panther, 2018’s Avengers: Infinity War and 2019’s Avengers: Endgame. In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Boseman played T’Challa also known as the Black Panther. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Boseman made $2 million for Black Panther, which was much more than what stars like Chris Evans and Chris Hemsworth made for their first Marvel movies but much less than what they earned at the time of Black Panther‘s premiere. (Hemsworth and Evans made $15 million at the time for Infinity War and Endgame, according to THR.) Black Panther went on to earn $1.3 billion at the box office and became one of Marvel’s most successful releases yet. Boseman then starred in Infinity War and Endgame, which made more than $2 billion each.

In an interview on Good Morning America in 2018, Boseman talked about what playing T’Challa in Black Panther meant to him. “It was important to us, I didn’t know how other people would feel about it,” Boseman said. “I knew just from the comic book what a ‘Black Panther’ movie could be, the type of impact it could have, I knew it would be a revolutionary idea. I didn’t necessarily know that people would buy out [the seats in] theaters.” He continued, “There is a sense of pride that I’ve seen from most people when they come out of the theater that is a very unique experience across the board, whether they’re African-American or African, or white, or Asian.”

He also opened up about the reaction of seeing fans watch the movie. “It’s important because I didn’t have this growing up,” Boseman said. “I’m still a kid, you know, there’s a kid in each one of us and so I just know what it’s going to mean to you when you see it that it can give you a certain type of confidence when you walk through the world. It also makes people that look like you see you in a different light and not judge you in a particular way.” He continued, “This sort of extends that conversation about black superhero women, women in superhero movies. There’s not just one image to look at. They’re all very different and have different types of beauty and strength.”

What was Chadwick Boseman’s net worth?

What was Chadwick Boseman’s net worth? According to Celebrity Net Worth, Chadwick Boseman’s net worth was $4 million at the time of his death. This number included the money he made from Black Panther, Infinity War, Endgame and other Marvel movies, as well as films like Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom, 21 Bridges and Da 5 Bloods. According to Celebrity Net Worth, Boseman died without a will. After his death, his widow Simone Ledward Boseman, petitioned a Los Angeles court to handle his estate. A court filing after Boseman’s death showed that the “total inventoried value” of his estate was $3,881,758.31, according to Celebrity Net Worth. The site also reported that Boseman’s estate received around $200,000 in residuals a year after his death.

At a speech at Howard University in 2018, Boseman gave advice to the graduating class about pursuing their careers. “Sometimes you need to get knocked down before you can really figure out what your fight is and how you need to fight it,” he said. “Whatever you choose for a career path, remember, the struggles along the way are only meant to shape you for your purpose. When I dared to challenge the system that would relegate us to victims and stereotypes with no clear historical backgrounds, no hopes or talents, when I questioned that method of portrayal, a different path opened up for me, the path to my destiny.”

He continued, “To be young, gifted and Black, we all know what it’s like to be told that there is not a place for you to be featured. Yet, you are young, gifted and Black. We know what it’s like to be told to say there is not a screen for you to be featured on, a stage for you to be featured on. “We know what it’s like to be a tail and not the head. We know what it’s like to be beneath and not above. And that is what we went to work with every day because we knew, not that we would be around during awards season and that it would make a billion dollars, but we knew that we had something special that we wanted to give the world. That we could be full human beings in the roles that we were playing. That we could create a world that exemplified a world that we wanted to see.”

Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige also said in a statement at the time, “Chadwick’s passing is absolutely devastating.

Walt Disney Company chairman Bob Iger added in his own statement, “We are all heartbroken by the tragic loss of Chadwick Boseman — an extraordinary talent, and one of the most gentle and giving souls I have ever met. He brought enormous strength, dignity and depth to his groundbreaking role of Black Panther; shattering myths and stereotypes, becoming a long-awaited hero to millions around the world, and inspiring us all to dream bigger and demand more than the status quo. We mourn all that he was, as well as everything he was destined to become. For his friends and millions of fans, his absence from the screen is only eclipsed by his absence from our lives. All of us at Disney send our prayers and heartfelt condolences to his family.”

Zac Efron Responded to Rumors He Had Plastic Surgery & Revealed What Really Happened to His Face https://stylecaster.com/zac-efron-face/ https://stylecaster.com/zac-efron-face/#respond Fri, 11 Nov 2022 22:06:52 +0000 https://stylecaster.com/?p=1265853 Since his viral video in 2021, fans have had questions over Zac Efron‘s face and if he’s had any plastic surgery done. Well, after a year of rumors over his face, Zac has broken his silence and explained the real reason he looks so different to fans.

Speculation over what happened to Zac Efron’s face and if he had plastic surgery started in April 2021 when he appeared in Bill Nye’s “Earth Day Musical” special for Facebook Watch, which led to questions from fans over his chin. “WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED TO ZAC EFRON LMAO, looks like he got stung by a bee,” Twitter user @KingAmadDiallo wrote at the time. Other users compared Zac’s face to The Weeknd’s prosthetics in his “Save Your Tears” music video. “Zac Efron was way too inspired by The Weeknd‘s face shape,” another user wrote.

Zac’s friend, Australian talk show host Kyle Sandilands, defended him at the time, denying that he had any plastic surgery. “I would know if he’d had any plastic surgery,” Sandilands said in an episode of the “The Kyle and Jackie O Show” podcast at the time “It’s like getting a Picasso and having a kid finger paint all over it. Why bother?” While he hasn’t spoken much about his face, Zac has been open about the pressure to maintain a certain physique level, especially after his body transformation for 2017’s Baywatch. “I realized that when I was done with that movie, I don’t ever want to be in that good of shape again,” Zac said in an interview on Hot Ones in April 2020. “You’re working with almost no wiggle room, right? You’ve got things like water under your skin that you’re worrying about, making your six-pack into a four-pack. Shit like that it’s just not … it’s just stupid.”

But back to Zac Efron‘s face. So what happened to Zac Efron’s face? Read on for his response to the plastic surgery rumors and what he’s said about why his face looks different.

What happened to Zac Efron’s face?

What happened to Zac Efron‘s face? Zac responded to rumors he underwent plastic surgery for his face in an interview with Entertainment Tonight in September 2022. In the interview, Zac called the rumors “funny” and explained that his different-looking face was due to a jaw injury in 2013—not surgery. “My mom told me. I never really read the internet, so, I don’t really care,” he said. He continued, “It was funny. It sucks. I almost died, but we’re good.” Zac broke his jaw and had to have his mouth wired shut after he was running through his house in socks, slipped, hit his face on the granite corner of a fountain and lost consciousness. When he woke up, his chin bone was hanging off his face, according to Men’s Health. The injury also came around the time he tore his ACL, dislocated his shoulder, broke his wrist and threw out his back.

Zac told the magazine in September 2020 that he does physical therapy to rehabilitate the injury, but he stopped for a time, which caused facial issues. He also explained to the magazine that the muscles in his face work together “like a symphony,” so the masseter muscles in his face, which are used for chewing, had to overcompensate for his other facial muscles not being as strong.

While he was in Australia from 2020 to 2021, Zac took a break from his physical therapy. Around that time, he also recorded a video for Bill Nye’s “Earth Day Musical” special for Facebook Watch, where fans noticed that his chin looked different. “The masseters just grew,” he says. “They just got really, really big.” Zac told Men’s Health that he wasn’t even aware of the response to the size of his jaw until his mother called to ask if he had underwent plastic surgery. As for the rumors, Zac told Men’s Health, “If I valued what other people thought of me to the extent that they may think I do,” he adds, “I definitely wouldn’t be able to do this work.”

As for his body, Zac revealed Men’s Health at the time that he started suffering from insomnia and depression after his physical transformation for 2017’s Baywatch. “I started to develop insomnia, and I fell into a pretty bad depression, for a long time,” he said. “Something about that experience burned me out. I had a really hard time recentering.” He continued, “Ultimately they chalked it up to taking way too many diuretics for way too long, and it messed something up.” Zac told Men’s Health that it wasn’t until 2022 that he started to feel like his old self again. “That Baywatch look, I don’t know if that’s really attainable,” he said. “There’s just too little water in the skin. Like, it’s fake; it looks CGI’d. And that required Lasix, powerful diuretics, to achieve. So I don’t need to do that.” He continued, “I much prefer to have an extra, you know, 2 to 3 percent body fat.”

Zac also spoke about his regret over his Baywatch body in a 2020 episode of Hot Ones. “It’s just stupid. It’s just not real. I’m happy that it worked, I’m happy that it got me through it,” he said. “Take care of your heart, take care of your brain, you’re good.”

As for his dating life, Zac told Cosmopolitan in 2017 that he often asks his younger brother, Dylan Efron, for relationship advice. “If I’m dating someone, one of the few people I need to weigh in on the situation is my brother,” he said at the time. “We live together, and we’re different in a lot of ways, but he’s really grounded. He lived a more normal life than I did growing up, so he’s a great barometer for me. He’ll be like, ‘Are you sure you’re happy? Is this what you really want?’ Having my little brother around is a really great thing. Zac wished Dylan, who is four years younger than him, a happy birthday in an Instagram post in 2019. “Happy birthday @dylanefron! Honestly, I never in my wildest dreams, would’ve thought that the little terror, devil, monster that was my little brother would turn into my very best friend. I’m so proud of the man you are today. Let’s save the world together- one waterfall at a time. Love ya little brother!” he captioned an Instagram photo of them in a waterfall.

Zac Efron’s Net Worth Isn’t as ‘Down to Earth’ as His Show—But He’s Making the Most of It https://stylecaster.com/zac-efron-net-worth/ https://stylecaster.com/zac-efron-net-worth/#respond Fri, 11 Nov 2022 22:05:37 +0000 http://www.stylecaster.com/?p=246532 Without a doubt, Zac Efron’s net worth doesn’t exactly fit into the titular mission of his latest Netflix series, Down to Earth with Zac Efron. But that doesn’t mean the star isn’t aware! The Disney Channel alum opened up in his new docuseries about the woes of fame and fortune, admitting that his experience isn’t always what it’s chalked up to be.

The series, which stars wellness guru Darin Olien as Zac’s trust co-host, sees the pair traveling around the world in search of better models of healthy living and sustainability. In one episode, Zac admits that he wants to “get out of Hollywood,” after realizing that it’s “not conducive” to a “long, happy, mentally-sound life.”

The episode in question sees Darin and Zac traveling to Sardinia, Italy—home to the world’s highest centenarian population (a.k.a., people who live past 100). In exploring the secrets to their long and healthy life, Zac begins to see his own life differently. “I’ve learned so much here, including that the secret to a long, healthy life is not just one thing, it’s many,” the Baywatch star says. “One major takeaway from this experience is that the locals maintain a low-stress, yet active lifestyle well into old age.”

“I’m definitely looking at my life a whole new way,” he tells Darin. “I gotta get out of Hollywood, I’m done. It’s not a place conducive to living a long, happy, mentally-sound life.”

While the star also admits he’s not planning to leave his acting career behind for good, he does consider the benefits of a move to somewhere new. “I love California, I just think that dense population of people and city life is clearly not leading to many centenarians,” Zac says.

“The nature of being an actor or being in the public eye, sort of leads to isolation at times,” he adds. So while Zac Efron’s net worth has definitely benefitted from his celebrity career, his mental health hasn’t always fared so well.

But there’s a plus to Zac Efron’s net worth in this situation, too—namely, it gives him the flexibility to move wherever he wants in the world. The star has recently been laying low in Australia, perhaps escaping some of the “isolation” that he originally feared (it is believed that Down to Earth season 1 was filmed sometime in 2018). Now, Zac Efron’s net worth has certainly come in handy as far as that goes. Here’s how much the actor has to burn through, should he choose to really “quit” Hollywood altogether.

How much did Zac Efron make for High School Musical?

High School Musical 3

Chances are you learned about Zac Efron after he starred as teenage heartthrob Troy Bolton in Disney Channel’s High School Musical franchise. But the truth is, the films weren’t always expected to be a hit. Multiple sources suggest that Zac was only paid around $100,000 for the first movie. Once HSM became the most commercially successful Disney Channel Original Movie (!!!) however, things began to look up for the young star.

By High School Musical 3: Senior Year, Zac was making an estimated $3 million to $5 million. The major paycheck bump meant Zac was making the most out of anyone in his cast.

In an interview with E! News in 2022, Zac revealed he’d be open to playing his High School Musical character, Troy Bolton, again. “Of course, of course. I mean, to have an opportunity in any form to go back and work with that team would be so amazing. My heart is still there. That would be incredible. I hope it happens,” he said at the time. In 2016, Variety reported Disney Channel had started casting on a High School Musical 4 movie, which planned to introduce a new cast of characters. “The potential movie is described as continuing the story of High School Musical, while introducing new East High Wildcats and their cross-town school rivals, the West High Knights,” Variety reported at the time.

Though conversations around High School Musical 4 slowed down, Disney Plus premiered a TV spinoff of the franchise, High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, in 2019. The show starred Olivia Rodrigo, Joshua Bassett and other actors as students at a fictional version of East High School as they performed school musicals, including a production of High School Musical. High School Musical actors Lucas Grabeel and Kaycee Stroh made cameos as themselves in the first season, while alum Corbin Bleu had a main role in season 3. In September 2022, Disney confirmed that a fourth High School Musical movie, titled High School Musical 4: The Reunion, was in the works. “On their first day back, the principal announces that Disney has decided to make the long-awaited High School Musical 4: The Reunion movie on location at their beloved high school, and our Wildcats will be playing featured extras in the movie,” Disney’s description read. The announcement came after Zac posted an Instagram photo of him in front of East High School with the caption: “Don’t you…Forget about me.”

How much did Zac Efron make for The Greatest Showman?

"The Greatest Showman"

While Zac Efron’s role in HSM definitely put his name on the map, the star has taken that career success and used it to grab a handful of other lucrative opportunities. Since the franchise wrapped, Zac has starred in plenty of other films from Doctor Seuss’ The Lorax, Neighbors, Hairspray, 17 Again, and yes, 2017’s The Greatest Showman.

While it’s unclear how much exactly Zac made from Showman, we know the film grossed a whopping $439 million worldwide—so we can expect his paycheck was easily in the millions, too. For comparison’s sake, Zac’s starring role in 2009’s 17 Again earned him $1 million alone.

What is Zac Efron’s net worth?

Zac Efron

What is Zac Efron’s net worth? Zac Efron’s net worth is $25 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth. Along with what he made from the High School Musical movies, The Greatest Showman and Down to Earth, Zac Efron’s net worth also includes his earnings from other blockbusters, such as 17 Again, Hairspray, Baywatch, Neighbors, The Lucky One and Dirty Grandpa. According to Celebrity Net Worth, Zac was paid $1 million to star as Matthew Perry’s younger self in 2009’s 17 Again. The site also reported that Zac was paid $100,000 for star as Link Larkin in 2007’s Hairspray, which was one of his first mainstream movie roles after High School Musical.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter in 2016, Zac looked back on his success as a child star and how it affected him, for better and for worse. “No matter who you are, you face challenges growing up,” he said. “You go with your things, you learn, you have to. It’s impossible to lead an honest and fulfilling life as a man and not make mistakes and ‘fess up to them when you need to. But it’s especially humiliating when they happen to be so public and so scrutinized.” He continued, “When you have success young, and you accept the good things, you have to accept all of it. You have to accept the moments of glory but also a great responsibility. And that responsibility, to some degree, involves being a role model. At the same time, I’m a human being, and I’ve made a lot of mistakes. I’ve learned from each one.”

Zac also opened up about his struggle with alcohol and drug abuse at the time, which led to stint in rehab. “I was drinking a lot, way too much,” he said, acknowledging there were drugs, too. “It’s never one specific thing. I mean, you’re in your 20s, single, going through life in Hollywood, you know? Everything is thrown at you. I wouldn’t take anything back; I needed to learn everything I did. But it was an interesting journey, to say the least.”

How Many ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’ Post-Credit Scenes Are There? The End Credits Had a Big Twist https://stylecaster.com/black-panther-wakanda-forever-post-credit-scenes/ https://stylecaster.com/black-panther-wakanda-forever-post-credit-scenes/#respond Fri, 11 Nov 2022 22:00:35 +0000 https://stylecaster.com/?p=1340562 If you just finished the sequel, you may be wondering how many Black Panther: Wakanda Forever post-credit scenes there are and what happens in the end-credits that connects Black Panther 2 to the rest of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is the second movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Black Panther series and the 30th film in the franchise overall. The movie—which is the final film in Phase Four of the Marvel Cinematic Universe—follows Shuri (Letitia Wright), Nakia (Lupita Nyong’o), Okoye (Danai Gurira) and other leaders of the Kingdom of Wakanda as they fight to protect their nation from from a threat from the undersea nation of Tlālōcān in the wake of the death of King T’Challa (Chadwick Boseman.) Boseman—who played King T’Challa / Black Panther in four Marvel Cinematic Universe movies: 2016’s Captain America: Civil War, 2018’s Black Panther and Avengers: Infinity War, and 2019’s Avengers: Endgame—died of colon cancer on August 28, 2020. He was 43 years old.

In an interview with Empire magazine in 2022, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige explained why the studio decided to not recast T’Challa after Boseman’s death.“It just felt like it was much too soon to recast,” he said.

Winston Duke, who plays M’Baku in the Black Panther movies, also explained in an interview on the “Jemele Hill is Unbothered” podcast in 2022 why he agreed with Feige’s decision to not recast Boseman as T’Challa. I think for this iteration of Black Panther, it’s very hard for me to comment on something like that because I’m of the mind that this is Chadwick’s role. Chadwick created this and Black Panther wouldn’t be the same without Chadwick Boseman who stood for the things that he stood for. When you cast a person, you’re also casting their experiences, you’re casting their politics, you’re casting all these things. Black Panther was heavily defined by the actor that did it, in my opinion,” he said.

But back to Black Panther: Wakanda Forever‘s post-credit scenes. So how many Black Panther: Wakanda Forever post-credit scenes are there and what happens after the movie ends? Read on for what we know about the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever post-credit scenes and how it may introduce a new generation of heroes.

What happens in the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever post-credits scene? The Black Panther: Wakanda Forever post-credits scene is a continuation from the final scene in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, which sees Shuri visit Nakia in Haiti, where she burns her funeral ceremonial robe in a fire on the beach like her mother, Ramonda, wanted. The moments allows Shuri to grieve after the death of her mother, who dies in a flood created by Namor, and her older brother, T’Challa, who dies at the start of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever from an unknown disease.

In the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever scene, Nakia comes from behind Shuri and asks, “Shuri, can we join you now?” Nakia then introduces Shuri to her and T’Challa’s son, Toussaint. “This is my son,” Nakia says before turning to the young boy beside her. “Toussaint, this is your aunty, Shuri.” Nakia explains to Shuri that she and T’Challa had a child before his death and made the decision to raise him Haiti to avoid the pressures of the throne. “We agreed it was better for him to grow up here,” Nakia says. Nakia also explains that Toussaint was the reason she didn’t attend T’Challa’s funeral in Wakanda, though the two of them had their own ceremony in Haiti. Shuri asks Nakia if Ramonda knew she and T’Challa had a child before his death, and Nakia tells her yes, hinting at an earlier scene in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever when Ramonda asks Nakia why she didn’t attend T’Challa’s funeral.

Shuri compliments Toussaint on his name. Toussaint responds by complimenting her back and explaining that Toussaint is his Haitian name but he also has a Wakandan name. When Shuri asks him who he is, Toussaint reveals that he’s Prince T’Challa, the son of King T’Challa. The Black Panther: Wakanda Forever post-credits scene then ends with a dedication slide to Chadwick Boseman, who played  T’Challa / Black Panther in the first Black Panther movie.

Who is T’Challa’s son in the Marvel Comics?

Black Panther

Who is T’Challa’s son in the Marvel Comics? While T’Challa has a son named Toussaint with Nakia in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, in the Marvel Comics, T’Challa has a son named Azari with Storm, a member of X-Men with the power to control the weather whose real name is Ororo Munroe. Azari made his on-screen debut in the 2008 animated movie, Next Avengers: Heroes of Tomorrow, which saw Azari have the power of electricity generation and manipulation like his mother and the enhanced agility like his father. The Next Avengers were a team of young heroes formed by Azari and the children of other Avengers killed by ultron. The other members included James Rogers, the son of Captain America and Black Widow; Torunn, the daughter of Thor; Henry Pym Jr., the son of Giant Man and the Wasp; and Francis Barton, the son of Clint Barton and the second Hawkeye.

In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Toussaint is also among several Avengers’ children or young heroes who have been introduced in recent years. Other children and young heroes include: Tommy Maximoff / Wiccan and Billy Maximoff / Speed, the sons of Scarlet Witch and Vision; Love, the daughter of Gorr the God Butcher and the adopted daughter of Thor; Cassie Lang / Stature, the daughter of Ant-Man; Kate Bishop / Hawkeye; America Chavez; Kamala Khan / Ms. Marvel; and Riri Williams/Ironheart, who also appeared in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. In an interview with STYLECASTER in July 2022, Iman Vellani, who plays Kamala Khan in Disney Plus’ Ms. Marvel series, responded to theories the Marvel Cinematic Universe was setting up a Young Avengers team. “I feel like Marvel could do something like that, right?” she said. “There should be something. There’s one man you’ll have to convince.”

Hailee Steinfeld, who played Kate Bishop in Disney Plus’ Hawkeye series, also responded to rumors of a Young Avengers team at a press conference before the premiere of Hawkeye in 2021. “I mean, listen, this feels so crazy to me right now just sitting here with this group of people. I’m so grateful to be a part of this show in this universe, and it’s only the beginning,” she said at the time. “This shows not even out, so I’m looking forward to that day.” Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige also responded to the theories in an interview with Entertainment Weekly in March 2021. “As a comic fan, anything in the comics is always our inspiration and our guide point. How those things come together and in what shape, it’s always subverting expectations, it’s always half the fun as meeting them,” he said. “But, yes, you can certainly see that Phase Four is introducing all sorts of new types of characters with the potential being endless. Now, all of us at Marvel Studios feel like Nick Fury at the end of Iron Man 1, as new actors and new performers come in and we tell them they’re part of a bigger universe. They just now have to do the work required to build their audience.”

Will there be a Black Panther 3?

Black Panther

Will there be a Black Panther 3? In an interview with Collider in 2022, producer Nate Moore confirmed that there had been ideas “floated around” for Black Panther 3, but a third movie hadn’t been confirmed yet. “That’s a great question. To be honest, this is not me trying to not answer the question. We really want to see how audiences receive the film, and I think Ryan’s really interested to see how the film plays before we decide,” he said. “There are certainly ideas we’ve floated around of what a third film could be if we get to make it. But until the movie comes out, we’re a bit superstitious in that way. We don’t want to count our chickens, because you never know what’s going to happen.”

Moore also told Gizmodo that he would want director Ryan Coogler to return for Black Panther 3, but it depends on how fans respond to Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. “That’s the million-dollar question,” he said “Look, you never want to count your chickens before they hatch and the movie’s not out yet. Right now it’s like, let’s see how people respond to this film. But the hope is audiences demand that we make another one and certainly, there have been ideas thrown around. So we’ll see.”

Coogler, for his part, told Gizmodo that he hasn’t thought much about Black Panther 3.  “I haven’t thought about it, to be honest,” he said. “When it comes to writing and directing, I’m not the world’s greatest multitasker. I kind of got to do what is in front of me and be singular. When it comes to producing, I’m more geared up to be able to do multiple things. And to plan things, I’ve got a great production company and fantastic collaborators that can help move things along. But when it comes to writing, and in this case, co-writing and directing, I’ve got to finish what’s in front of me and then and then think of all that is happening after that.”

Coogler also told Collider at the time that his focus at the time was on Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, which is why there hadn’t been much progress on Black Panther 3. “I’m a husband and a dad now, so I’m trying to live a long time, you know what I’m saying? And I hope to work a long time,” he said. “And I love making movies, it fills me with a sense of joy that I hope every human can find in their life. And I hope can maintain that joy and make more things of various sizes. But truth be told, like right now, I’m just focusing on [Black Panther: Wakanda Forever] and getting this done, because it’s still a lot of work to do before this comes out to the world. And once that’s over, I’m going to sit and think about what’s next.”

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is in theaters now. The first Black Panther movie is available to stream on Disney Plus. Here’s how to watch it for free.

Boseman, whose full name was Chadwick Aaron Boseman, was born on November 19, 1976, in Anderson, South Carolina. His first major role came in 2010 when he played Sergeant Graham McNair in NBC’s Person Unknown, which ran for one season. His breakthrough performance came three years later when he played the first Black Major League Baseball player  Jackie Robinson in 2013’s 42. Boseman’s career continued with other biographical films—such as 2014’s Get on Up in which he played singer James Brown and 2017’s Marshall in which he played Supreme Court Justice Thurgood Marshall—before his big break as T’Challa, also known as the Black Panther, in the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Black Panther franchise.

Boseman made his debut as the Black Panther in 2016’s Captain America: Civil War before he led his own movie as the character in 2018’s Black Panther. The movie, which grossed more than $1.3 billion worldwide, became Marvel Studios’ first movie to be nominated for an Oscar for Best Picture at the Academy Awards. Boseman starred as the Black Panther for two more movies, 2018’s Avengers: Infinity War and 2019’s Avengers as well as four episodes of Disney Plus’ What If…?, before his death in 2020. Boseman died on August 28, 2020. He was 43 years old. “He is the most honest person I’ve ever met,” Boseman’s wife, Simone Ledward, said at the 2021 Gotham Awards. “Because he didn’t just stop at speaking the truth, he actively searched for it in himself, in those around him and in the moment. The truth can be a very easy thing for the self to avoid, but if one does not live in truth, then it’s impossible to live in line with a divine purpose.”

So how did Chadwick Boseman die and what was his cause of death? Read on for what we know about how Chadwick Boseman died and how his death has led others to seek answers about their health.

How did Chadwick Boseman die?

How did Chadwick Boseman die? Boseman died on August 28, 2020, after a four-year battle with colon cancer. He was 43 years old. “It is with immeasurable grief that we confirm the passing of Chadwick Boseman. Chadwick was diagnosed with stage III colon cancer in 2016, and battled it with these last 4 years as it progressed to stage IV,” his family wrote at the time in a statement on his social media. “A true fighter, Chadwick persevered through it all, and brought you many of the films you have come to love so much. From Marshall to Da 5 Bloods, August Wild’s Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom and several more, all were filmed during and between countless surgeries and chemotherapy.” The statement continued, “It was the honor of his career to bring King T’Challa to life in Black Panther. He died in his home, with his wife and family by his side. The family thanks you for your love and prayers, and asks that you continue to respect their privacy during this difficult time.”

Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige also said in a statement at the time, “Chadwick’s passing is absolutely devastating.

What was Chadwick Boseman’s cause of death?

Chadwick Boseman

What was Chadwick Boseman’s cause of death? Boseman’s cause of death was colon cancer. TMZ reported in September 2020 that Boseman’s death led to a massive increase in donations to colon cancer awareness and research. The disease is the third leading form of cancer in both women and men in the United States. Anjee Davis, President of Fight Colorectal Cancer, told TMZ at the time that her organization received a boost in social media followers and donations of more than $10,000 within days of Boseman’s death. She told TMZ at the time that the funds will be used toward research for better treatment options and a cure for colon caner. She also hoped that Boseman’s death increased awareness around the disease and motivated people to look into their family history of colon cancer and undergo early screenings if they’ve noticed signs or symptoms.

Michael Sapienza, CEO of the Colorectal Cancer Alliance, also told told TMZ that Boseman’s death brought “the most monumental change” to how people viewed colon cancer. Cindy Borassi, Interim President for the Colon Cancer Foundation, also said that Boseman’s “larger-than-life personality” helped boost outreach, awareness and support for colon cancer research during a time when screenings went down amid the current health crisis. She told TMZ at the time that donations to her organization increased by at least 300 percent within days of Boseman’s death. Gus Rodriguez, a man from Atlantis, Florida, told CBS 12 in March 2021 about how Boseman’s cause of death led him to get screened for colon cancer after years of ignoring the signs. “I turned to my wife and said, ‘I got a confession to make,'” he said. “She said, ‘You gotta get it checked out’ and I said, ‘You’re right.'” “Chadwick Boseman was a hero on and off the screen and he was young,” Dr. Heidi Bahna, a colorectal surgeon at JFK Hospital in Atlantis, told CBS 12, which reported that Rodriguez learned from a colonoscopy that his cancer was in the early stages. Dr. Bahna performed the surgery before it could spread. “We were able to do a robotic, minimally invasive surgery, and he was cured of his cancer and will get chemotherapy to make sure this cancer doesn’t come back,” he said. “Early colon cancers are often treated with surgery alone, and have a very good survival, about 90 percent for stage one and two,” added Dr. Juliet Ray, a colorectal surgeon at JFK.

Dr. Michael Hunter, a forensic pathologist, also explained in the documentary Autopsy: The Last Hours Of… Chadwick Boseman in 2022 that it was rare for Boseman to die so young from colon cancer. “Chadwick Boseman died from colon cancer at an incredibly young age. I’ve already identified that, as a child, he suffered from a hernia that can lead to intestinal issues linked to colon cancer,” he said. He continued, “But I don’t believe this alone can explain how Chadwick developed the disease so young. As with all cancers, catching it in the early stages is vital for survival.”

Boseman’s last role was as the voice of T’Challa / Black Panther in four episodes of Disney Plus’ animated series, What If…?, which were released a year after his death. In an interview on the “Wakanda Forever: The Official Black Panther Podcast” in  2022, director Ryan Coogler—who directed 2019’s Black Panther and 2022’s Black Panther: Wakanda Forever—revealed that Boseman didn’t read the script for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever before his death. “I just finished it, man. My last conversation was calling him, asking him if he wanted to read it before I got notes from the studio,” he said. “That was the last time we spoke. And yeah, so I, you know, he passed maybe a couple weeks after I finished.”

Though he didn’t know Boseman had colon cancer at the time, Coogler told the podcast that he could“tell something was up” with the actor and his health. “He was tired, bro. I could tell he was tired. I’d been trying to get a hold of him for a few days and Denzel [Washington] had been trying to get a hold of him too,” he said. “So I texted him and told him, ‘Hey man, Denzel said he’s been looking for you too.’ Because he just did Ma Rainey for Denzel. So he called me. And I could tell he was laying down. We were talking. And Simone [Boseman] was with him. And he kicks Simone out, because he told her he didn’t want her to hear nothing that could get him in trouble with the NDA. And she didn’t wanna leave him. So I could tell something was up. But they were joking and laughing.” Coogler also said that Boseman didn’t want to read the script for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever “because he didn’t wanna get in the way of whatever notes the studio might have. So he was like, ‘It’s better if I can read it later.’ But I found later that he was too tired to read anything.”

In an interview with Empire magazine in 2022, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige explained why the studio decided to not recast T’Challa after Boseman’s death.“It just felt like it was much too soon to recast,” he said. “Stan Lee always said that Marvel represents the world outside your window. And we had talked about how, as extraordinary and fantastical as our characters and stories are, there’s a relatable and human element to everything we do.

Producer Nate Moore also explained why T’Challa wasn’t recast in a 2021 inteview on “The Ringer-Verse” podcast.  “We just couldn’t do it,” he said. “When Chad passed, it was a real conversation we had with [director Ryan] Coogler about what do we do, and it was a fast conversation,” Moore said. “I think we all feel so much of T’Challa in the MCU on the screen – not in comics – is tied to Chadwick’s performance, is what he brought to that role both on and off-screen.” He added that the most difficult challenge of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever was how to tell “a story without T’Challa” He continued, “[There will be a] level of … catharsis in people coming back this universe without that guy, because that guy and that universe to me are one in the same”.

Winston Duke, who plays M’Baku in the Black Panther movies, also explained on “Jemele Hill is Unbothered” podcast in 2022 why he agreed with Marvel’s decision to not recast Boseman as T’Challa. I think for this iteration of Black Panther, it’s very hard for me to comment on something like that because I’m of the mind that this is Chadwick’s role. There’s one thing most people can’t live without because it makes them feel refreshed and wide awake. I’m talking about caffeine, which I myself love to sip on. But did you know caffeine can do more than just give you a jolt of energy? When packed into a skincare product, it can help reduce puffiness. The under-eye area is especially prone to this concern whenever fluid builds up beneath the skin. It could be due to allergies, genetics, a late night out on the town, binge-watching K-dramas until the early morning and the list goes on. Luckily, you’re not doomed to swollen under eyes thanks to The INKEY List’s Caffeine Eye Cream

This lightweight cream targets puffiness, dark circles and fine lines under your eyes. Caffeine assists in reducing fluid retention, while Matrixyl 3000 peptide promotes collagen production (translation: it smooths fine lines). Albizia Julibrissin Bark Extract (which comes from Persian silk tree bark) works to make your under eyes look extra refreshed.

So if your under eyes could use a pick-me-up, don’t reach for anything but the Caffeine Eye Cream. One shopper wrote, “Really makes my eyes look like I’ve had a good night’s sleep!”

Essentially, this depuffing product is like a cup of joe for your under eyes. Shop it for only $7 during The INKEY List’s Black Friday sale. The brand is starting way early, which means you get even more time to save. From November 10 through November 20, save 25 percent off of everything on the site. You might be impatient to get rid of puffiness, dark circles and wrinkles around your eyes, which is why this cream is perfect for you. According to the brand, you could start to see visible results in as little as two weeks. Full results take six weeks, but it’s well worth the wait.

In fact, one shopper said they noticed results even quicker. They wrote, “Love this eye cream. Very good price. Visibly reduced dark circles in a week. Definitely recommend.”

Another reviewer wrote, “I have tried many eye creams and gels, but this is the best. I have dark circles and eye bags… this gets rid of both! Brilliant stuff which I buy on repeat (and now also for my daughter!).”

Apply the eye cream in both the morning and evening on a daily basis. This step should come after you’ve cleansed and applied serums. Be sure to use your ring finger and keep your movements nice and gentle, since this area is super delicate.

The brand also has a pro tip that’ll enhance the product’s cooling effects. It’s simple: Toss the Caffeine Eye Cream into the fridge for 30 minutes prior to application. Who doesn’t want to feel like they’re at the spa when they’re applying this product?

Give your eyes the T.L.C. it deserves by adding The INKEY List’s Caffeine Eye Cream to your arsenal. Make sure you scoop it up before the Black Friday sale ends.

If you’re a fan of Westerns, you may want to know how to watch The English online for free to see the show being called the new Yellowstone.

The English is a Western miniseries that follows Cornelia Locke (Emily Blunt), an English woman who arrives in the West in 1890 to seek revenge on a man she believes is responsible for the death of her son. Along the way, she meets Eli Whipp (Chaske Spencer), an ex-cavalry scout and a member of the Pawnee Nation who she discovers she has a piece of shared history with. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Blunt explained why it was important for her to feature a Native American character’s perspective in The English, something that’s still rare in Westerns. “It was vital to us to find our Eli. This is one of the first times in film history or television history that you have a Native American character who is basically Paul Newman. He just happens to be Native American,” she said. “For Chaske, and I must let him speak to it more because it’s his subject matter to talk about, it was really exciting and emboldening for him to play a role like this. I feel Native Americans can be constrained to certain identities that are not fair. It’s not freeing and it’s not expansive. All that matters to [these characters] is that they survive, and they need each other to do that. She doesn’t see him as anything other than this bright light that’s going to get her where she needs to get to, and he is the first kind man she’s ever met.”

She also teased the relationship between Cornelia and Eli and how it leads to a “deeply tender love story” between the characters. “She says at the beginning, ‘It was in the stars, and we believed in the stars, you and I’  They came together like a couple of comets rather unexpectedly,” Blunt said. “What they find in each other is that all that matters to them now [is] that they survived. And it’s a real gauntlet for them to survive, and they really need the other one to do that. But they do have this deeply tender love story. And it’s an epic love story between two people. She’s an English woman. He’s a Native American. And they’ve both suffered terrible loss. They have a lot to learn from each other.”

Who’s in The English cast?

The English cast includes Emily Blunt in the lead role of Cornelia Locke, an English woman who arrives in the West in 1890 to seek revenge on the man she believes is responsible for the death of her son. Blunt also executive produces the series. See the full English cast below.

  • Emily Blunt as Cornelia Locke
  • Chaske Spencer as Eli Whipp
  • Rafe Spall
  • Tom Hughes
  • Stephen Rea
  • Valerie Pachner
  • Toby Jones
  • Ciaran Hinds
  • Malcolm Storry
  • Steve Wall
  • Nichola McAuliffe
  • Sule Rimi
  • Edward Crook
  • Cristian Solimeno
  • Nakota Kennedy
  • Miguel Alvarez as Timothy Flynn

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly in September 2022, Blunt opened up about what it was like to star in her first Western. “I’ve always really loved the Western. It’s a very mythic story space, so you can get outside of a strict reality with it in some ways,” she said. “You can do something really elevated, and it’s a world that’s built on power and identity and brutality. It’s this really mythic landscape, and so I’d always been excited about the idea of playing within that. This offered a cacophony of reasons why I wanted to do it. It was so beautiful when I read it; it was so piercing. And yet, it moved like a chase thriller.”

She also told the magazine about how Cornelia is different than other characters she’s played.  “I found her really surprising. She’s definitely not the damsel tied to a tree at all. She’s a curious person because she arrives looking like the feminine ideal, and you just think, ‘Oh my God, you’re toast,'” she said. “She seems to be in a situation where she’s in way over her head. Yet she has this flare of vengeance running through her, and she arrives in this wild landscape of the West in order to enact revenge on the man she sees as responsible for the death of her son. She is far more capable and resourceful in matters of survival than any of us could have expected. That’s what I really adored about her. And yet, even though she’s someone who’s suffered terrible loss, she’s resilient and buoyant and positive and lives rather fearlessly. We discover why as we go along. I love a character with a secret.”

Blunt also explained to Entertainment Weekly about why she wanted to The English to be the first TV show she’s executive produced. “For a while now I feel like I’ve been playing that role and maybe not asking for the credit. And creatively I take great joy in developing projects and putting my fingerprints on as much as I can of whatever I’ve signed on to do,” she said. “I adore the development of stuff. I love post production. I love all of it. I just haven’t really asked for the role before, I guess. This came along as a pilot, and so, I signed on to it as a pilot. It seemed that I was going to be along for the ride from its most embryonic phases.” She continued, “I will just credit Hugo Blick — the man doesn’t really need any notes because his scripts they’re so extraordinary. I’ve never had so few notes on anything I’ve ever done in the development of it, and I felt great responsibility in making sure it got made. This is a project that might feel the closest to me. This is something that I am so proud of it and I’m so intimately involved with, so I can’t wait for it to come out.”

Here’s When You Can Watch ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’ at Home For Free to See T’Challa’s Farewell https://stylecaster.com/how-to-watch-black-panther-wakanda-forever/ https://stylecaster.com/how-to-watch-black-panther-wakanda-forever/#respond Fri, 11 Nov 2022 21:30:27 +0000 https://stylecaster.com/?p=1339453 If you’ve been waiting to see the sequel since the first movie came out three years ago, you may want to know how to watch Black Panther: Wakanda Forever at home online for free and when Black Panther 2 will come to Disney Plus. (Spoiler alert: It’s expected to stream by the end of the year.)

One main cast member from 2018’s Black Panther who isn’t in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is Chadwick Boseman, who played T’Challa / Black Panther in four Marvel Cinematic Universe movies: 2016’s Captain America: Civil War, 2018’s Black Panther and Avengers: Infinity War, and 2019’s Avengers: Endgame. Boseman died of colon cancer on August 28, 2020—around a year before Black Panther: Wakanda Forever started filming. From Marshall to Da 5 Bloods, August Wild’s Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom and several more, all were filmed during and between countless surgeries and chemotherapy.”

The statement continued, “It was the honor of his career to bring King T’Challa to life in Black Panther. He died in his home, with his wife and family by his side. The family thanks you for your love and prayers, and asks that you continue to respect their privacy during this difficult time.”

Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige also said in a statement at the time, “Chadwick’s passing is absolutely devastating.

In an interview on the “The Ringer-Verse” podcast in 2021, producer Nate Moore explained why T’Challa was not recast after Boseman’s death.

Will there be a Black Panther 3?

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will be available to stream on Disney Plus around December 26, 2022. Here’s how to subscribe for free.

Emily Blunt Reveals Her ‘The English’ Co-Star Almost Fainted While Filming on a Horseback https://stylecaster.com/emily-blunt/ https://stylecaster.com/emily-blunt/#respond Fri, 11 Nov 2022 21:15:45 +0000 https://stylecaster.com/?p=1340253 Life in the Wild West was notoriously unforgiving. Though human innovation has overcome many of the issues that plagued European settlers in the 1890s—like poor hygiene and smallpox—there are some things we simply have no control over, like the weather. And while the fashion at the time might have been fine for the moderate climate of London, it was perhaps not so suited to Kansas, where we are introduced to Emily Blunt and Chaske Spencer’s characters in The English.

Set in 1890 and filmed in the “mythic vistas” of Spain at the height of summer, The English is a six-episode saga featuring Blunt as Lady Cornelia Locke, a British aristocrat on a quest for revenge against the man who killed her son. She teams up with Eli Whipp (Spencer), a Skidi of the Pawnee Nation and former cavalry scout grappling with two conflicting identities. Facing a violent landscape, their physical and psychological limits are constantly tested as they head towards their ultimate destination new town of Hoxem, Wyoming.

Like their fictional counterparts, the actors too had their fair share of physical challenges. Four months of rigorous horse riding, fighting and shooting training under the merciless Spanish sun, where the temperature frequently soared over 100 degrees. At the New York City premiere of the series on November 9, 2022, Blunt recalled one day on set that was particularly challenging. Her costume was typical of the Victorian time period, comprising layers of woolen cloth, a corset, bustle and long sleeves. Spencer was draped in “this massive red blanket”. Needless to say, outfits that are not suited to the heat. “The hardest day on set was where we were doing this standoff into a shootout,” she told StyleCaster. “It was about 110 degrees that day and Chaske got sunstroke, he told me later he almost fell off his horse.”

Spencer, who Twilight fans may remember from the Wolf Pack, remembers that day too: “Yeah there was a day where I started to get a little light-headed,” he said. Blunt added that while it was indeed tough at times, it was all part of the experience. “You want to be exposed to the elements when you do a Western and we were and you feel it, it’s tactile and so I loved it,” she said. She later added that the nights were “so beautiful because the sun would be setting and with all the horses and wagons, it would kick up this dust that would add this eerie, beautiful, spellbinding look to the whole thing. It was like a dust bath, and I missed it when I came back to New York, to this concrete jungle.”

The English costumes, designed masterfully by Phoebe De Gaye, certainly tell a story. When Blunt’s character arrives in the arid frontier, she’s unsuitably gussied up. Her baby pink Victorian garb is untarnished. But as she continues her quest for revenge, pinks turn to reds, reds turn to purples. “Phoebe said the reason for it was because ‘I want to see you get bruised by your experience’, like it’s a wound that gets red and then bruised. It’s just so clever and meaningful,” Blunt observed.

Eli is carrying his own emotional baggage. When asked what three words he would use to describe his character, Spencer said “brutal, lost and loving,” as he tries to find his place in the world. “I think he represents the old world, the new world and how we can adjust to it… The effects of manifest destiny,” he said. He had to do a lot of “reading between the lines” with the script because as viewers will discover, Eli’s dialogue can be as sparse as his surroundings. “It’s fun to play silent because I think sometimes you can convey more,” he said.

That scarcity is deliberate, said Blick, an homage to old Hollywood filmmaking. “I think it was Jimmy Stewart who said, ‘The first clue to a good Western is a slim script!’ I took that to heart. These were slim scripts, made even slimmer in the edit… The key to the story’s rhythm is Eli, he speaks to it, how he’d learn not to. The less said, the more an audience can hear what it is.”

While elements traditional to the Western genre do flow throughout the six episodes of The English—gun fights, horses galloping across an endless horizon and brutal killings—the series breaks the mold significantly as it leaves behind many of the hyper-masculine tropes of the past. Cornelia “is not tied to a tree needing to be rescued,” said Blunt, “she’s on this propulsive revenge mission, so you’ve got a female character who was outside of the norms of the genre, and you’ve got a really beautiful love story at the heart of it. As you say, the Western genre is normally quite masculine and brutal. And this has a tender center. It’s unusual.”

After Chadwick Boseman, who played the Black Panther King T’Challa, tragically died in 2020, many fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe were left wondering who would replace him as the new Black Panther in Black Panther 2: Wakanda Forever.

Boseman passed away after a private battle with Stage 4 colon cancer. He was only 43. “A true fighter, Chadwick persevered through it all, and brought you many of the films you have come to love so much,” his family said in a statement at the time. “From Marshall to Da 5 Bloods, August Wilson’s Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom and several more, all were filmed during and between countless surgeries and chemotherapy.”

But the show, as they say, must go on. Continue reading to find out who has taken over as the new Black Panther after Boseman’s death.

Who is the new Black Panther?

Who is the new Black Panther? Fans of the books will already know that T’Challa’s genius half-sister Shuri (Letitia Wright) takes over the responsibility of Wakanda’s superpowered protector. If you saw the first Black Panther movie, though, you’ll know that Killmonger (Michael B. Jordan) destroyed all the Heart-Shaped Herb in Wakanda that gave the power of the Black Panther to whoever drank the brew infused with the flower. Usually, the new Black Panther is chosen by a new challenger facing the existing hero in a gladiator-style face-off. In fact, in the comics, Shuri intended to compete herself on the day T’Challa took over the mantle from his uncle S’Yan, but she was taken out by an opponent.

There were questions as to whether the MCU should simply recast T’Challa following Boseman’s death. In an interview with Empire, Kevin Feige said it was “too soon” to simply swap out Boseman for another actor, as he’d been introduced in Captain America: Civil War, appearing through to the groundbreaking origins story Black Panther, and into Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame.

“It just felt like it was much too soon to recast,” he says, likening their approach to Marvel’s long-standing ethos in the comics. “Stan Lee always said that Marvel represents the world outside your window. And we had talked about how, as extraordinary and fantastical as our characters and stories are, there’s a relatable and human element to everything we do. The world is still processing the loss of Chad. And Ryan poured that into the story.”

He continued: “Ryan Coogler is working very hard right now on the script with all the respect and love and genius that he has, which gives us great solace, so it was always about furthering the mythology and the inspiration of Wakanda. There’s also the task of honoring and respecting the ongoing learnings and teachings from Chad as well.”

Wakanda Forever opens with Shuri trying desperately to recreate the flower to heal her brother from an undisclosed illness, but she’s unsuccessful and T’Challa (who isn’t depicted in these scenes) dies. Much of Wakanda Forever focuses on a post-Black Panther Wakanda and how that time in the nation’s history has passed. There are flashbacks to Boseman’s scenes from the first movie towards the end of Wakanda Forever, as Shuri struggles, but eventually comes, to terms with her brother’s death.

Initially, Shuri is not interested in taking over the Black Panther mantle, she doesn’t even really believe in the Ancestral Plane. But when her mother, Queen Ramonda, dies at the hands of Wakanda’s new enemy, Namor, (played by Tenoch Huerta), the African nation needs the power of the Black Panther to defend itself from this very formidable enemy. Little does Namor know, he gifts Shuri with the missing ingredient necessary to reinvigorate the Heart-Shaped Herb. Shuri undergoes the ritual to turn herself into the Black Panther—which involves going to the Ancestral Plane and consulting dead relatives in the afterlife.

Shuri is shocked to find Killmonger, the antagonist of the first Black Panther movie from 2018 there in the Ancestral Plane. He says T’Challa’s mercy made him “too noble” and therefore weak, so he tries to convince Shuri to do what needs to be done and destroy Namor. Returning to consciousness, Shuri tells Nakia (Lupita Nyong’o) the brew didn’t work but it’s clear she’s got super strength and thus creates her Black Panther own suit. In the final showdown with Namor, Shuri nearly kills her enemy as Killmonger encourages, but instead shows mercy when a vision of her mother, Ramonda, convinces her to spare him.

What are Shuri’s Black Panther powers?

What are Shuri’s Black Panther powers? They’re similar to those that have come before her: super strength, stamina, power absorption, nanotechnology enhancements and other superpowered physical characteristics that make her comparable to T’Challa and Killmonger. This, of course, is paired with her existing genius-level intellect, so that’s an edge she has over both of them. She’s also upgraded the suit to include panther-shaped gauntlets that can fire sonic blasts, so Black Panther now has ranged attacks as well as being deadly in close quarters.

Will there be a Black Panther 3?

Will there be a Black Panther 3? Nothing finite has been announced but Wakanda Forever producer Nate Moore told Variety plenty of ideas were floating around as to where to take the Wakandan story next. “This world is expansive, and there are so many great characters,” Moore says. “Beyond what happens with this film, there are more opportunities to go back to Wakanda.”

Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige backed up this statement. “I go back to what I said when we decided to make Wakanda Forever after losing Chad,” Feige said. “This mythology and this ensemble and these characters deserve to continue and will continue after all of us are gone, I hope, and will continue forever in movies the way it has in comics for 50-plus years.”

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is in theaters now. The first Black Panther movie is available to stream on Disney Plus. Here’s how to watch it for free.

For more about Black Panther and Chadwick Boseman, read Mia Johnson’s 2020 biography, Chadwick Boseman: Forever Our King. The book, which was published four months after Boseman’s death from colon cancer on August 28, 2020 at the age of 43, takes Marvel fans through Boseman’s career and life from how he was cast as King T’Challa in the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Black Panther franchise to his secret diagnosis with colon cancer in 2016, two years before the premiere of the first Black Panther movie. The biography—which donates a portion of its proceeds to Fight Colorectal Cancer, an organization dedicated to researching and raising awareness around rectal cancer—also includes dozens of full-color photographs and details about Boseman’s childhood in South Carolina and his final days before his death. “If you love Chadwick Boseman, and who doesn’t, you need this book,” one reviewer wrote.

The “Twilight” Character That Matches Each Zodiac Sign https://stylecaster.com/zodiac-signs-twilight/ https://stylecaster.com/zodiac-signs-twilight/#respond Fri, 11 Nov 2022 20:00:59 +0000 https://stylecaster.com/?p=1340484 Although it may be corny, it’s time to talk about the Twilight character that matches each zodiac sign. After all, there’s a reason people still can’t stop talking about Bella, Edward and Jacob. Once you’ve fallen for the cold and windy oceanside forests of Forks, Washington, you’ll never stop dreaming of vampires and werewolves under a cloudy-gray sky.

Ever since The Twilight Saga skyrocketed to motion-picture success during the late aught’s, it’s fan base has only gotten bigger. In fact, it’s experiencing a resurgence of enthusiasm on TikTok and Instagram, proving that YA-author Stephenie Meyer tapped into something that cannot be stopped. If you’re obsessed with the Twilight universe to the point of reading the latest release of Midnight Sunwhich is Twilight told from Edward’s perspective—then you know you’ve spent hours dissecting the nuances of each character and their backstory. Because the archetypes of each zodiac sign in astrology are present in each and every one of us, it can be a powerful tool for understanding each character’s intentions and how they conflict and align with one other’s.

If you’re unashamed to admit that you freaking love Twilight, then let’s talk about the zodiac sign that matches each of the most important characters in the saga:

The Twilight Character That Matches Each Zodiac Sign

Emmett Cullen Twilight Eclipse

Photo: Summit Entertainment.

Aries: You’re Emmett Cullen

The strongest member of the Cullen clan is Emmett. Not only does he dominate in vampire baseball, he’s also jumps at the chance to rough-house with his brothers. The fact that he never backs down from a chance to prove his bravado makes him such an Aries. And because Aries are loud and proud when it comes to showing off the people they love, it only makes sense that he would end up with Rosalie, a woman who can never get enough of being worshipped and adored.

Esme Cullen Twilight

Photo: Summit Entertainment.

Taurus: You’re Esme Cullen

Esme is as stable of a presence for the Cullen family as she is beautiful, which makes her a Taurus through and through. This Venus-ruled zodiac sign has a way of remaining loyal through thick and thin, which makes sense, as Esme’s entire origin story is based on loving her vampire-doctor husband, Carlisle. She’s been in love with him since the moment she first saw him when he treated her broken leg at the age of sixteen. After her failed marriage and the loss of her baby, she finally crossed paths with him again and they never parted ways again. Sounds like a Taurus love story to me!

Jessica Stanley Twilight

Photo: Summit Entertainment.

Gemini: You’re Jessica Stanley

Jessica has a lot on her mind and her mouth can definitely keep up. Her ability to essentially have a conversation with herself and barely notice that her friend Bella isn’t paying attention is peak Gemini behavior. Although she may give off “frenemy” vibes at times, the truth is, she’s probably the only human in Forks who’s well aware of how boring and awkward Bella can be at times. She’s often left wondering what the fuss is all about! You can alway count on a Gemini to observe and keep up with everyone’s energy, because they definitely need a lot to remain stimulated and interested.

Jacob Black Twilight Eclipse

Photo: Summit Entertainment.

Cancer: You’re Jacob Black

If there’s one thing that’s true about Jacob, it’s that he’s quite sensitive and deeply committed to his emotional convictions. His task of enforcing the treaty that protects his home—the Quileute Reservation—from vampires gives off major Cancer vibes, as is the zodiac sign that nurtures and protects the home. Also, it’s a well-known fact that werewolves love transforming into their furry forms under the full moon! His intense love and affection for Bella is also rather Cancer of him, as it can at times become irrational. What Cancer hasn’t pined for someone from afar?

Rosalie Hale Twilight

Photo: Summit Entertainment.

Leo: You’re Rosalie Hale

Vampires are always beautiful… and then there’s Rosalie. She is depicted as the ultimate beauty; someone who can’t seem to get enough of their own reflection. Sounds pretty Leo, doesn’t it? However, that’s not the only thing about her that gives off Leo energy. She’s proud, protective and slow-to-trust, which is why she was wary of Bella from the very start. Being fixed fire signs, Leos are also highly committed, which is why Rosalie has no problem abstaining from human blood completely. She’s the only one who’s never even had a drop of it! And although she remains true to her values, she is “theatrical” just like a Leo, as shown in the way she wore her wedding dress while getting revenge on the men who hurt her.

Bella Swan Twilight

Photo: Summit Entertainment.

Virgo: You’re Bella Swan

Most of the world had Bella pegged as a Virgo from the very start. She’s shy, introverted, studious, intellectual, awkward and modest, which is incredibly Virgo of her. She’s also a no-frills kind of gal, as she would rather slip on some old sneakers rather than wear a pair of high heels. Virgos are much more concerned with functionality than keeping up the the latest style trends, but that doesn’t mean they don’t rock that clean and simple look! Bella also handles heartbreak and romance a lot like a Virgo would, in that every aspect of her daily routine came undone when Edward left her in Twilight: New Moon. Although they may seem unbothered, Virgos always contain a deep source of emotion.

Carlise Cullen Twilight

Photo: Summit Entertainment.

Libra: You’re Carlisle Cullen

The reason the Cullen clan has been able to survive the modern world as well as they have is thanks to Carlisle. Libras are famous for their charm, persuasiveness and charisma, which is why Carlisle has not only been able to survive life as a vampire for the past 365 years, but thrive. It doesn’t hurt that he’s supposed to be next-level gorgeous and frozen forever at the age of 23. He’s able to be a mediator not only between humans and vampires, but within his own family. Let’s not forget the time he told Rosalie that “Bella is a part of this family now”, instantly diffusing any conflict or tension in the household. What Libra doesn’t play peacekeeper?

Jasper Hale Twilight

Photo: Summit Entertainment.

Scorpio: You’re Jasper Hale

Scorpio is often depicted as the most intense and passionate of all the zodiac signs, and yet, they always keep their secrets well-hidden. Jasper is the most mysterious member of the Cullen clan with one of the most traumatic backstories, but he always maintains a stoic and distant appearance. However, underneath that careful facade is a vampire who has a *very* hard time curbing their appetite for human blood. Everyone knows that when a Scorpio desires something, it’s almost impossible to stop them! However, Scorpios just need to feel loved and protected before they can let their guard down, which is why Alice is always capable of bringing him back to his center.

Victoria Twilight Eclipse

Photo: Summit Entertainment.

Sagittarius: You’re Victoria

Although Victoria is one of the main antagonists of the entire Twilight saga, she manages to remain bad ass every step of the way. When you think of Victoria, you probably envision her speeding through a forest with a mane of blood-red hair snapping in the wind. Only a Sagittarius could manage to travel such long distances just for the mere satisfaction of getting revenge. And because this mutable fire sign makes waves wherever they go, it only makes sense that she was able to build an entire vampire army before finally going to battle against the Cullens and werewolves of Forks.

Edward Cullen Twilight

Photo: Summit Entertainment.

Capricorn: You’re Edward Cullen

When you think of an attractive Capricorn man, you probably think of someone like Edward. Between his tall, statuesque frame, his sharp bone structure and his pale, diamond-encrusted skin, Edward radiates Capricorn beauty perfectly. However, that’s not the only reason everyone’s favorite vampire crush is a Capricorn. He also shows his love to Bella by being her rock and making sure her protection always comes first. Capricorns are known for being so committed to keeping everyone safe that they come across unfriendly or terse because of it. Edward’s brooding quality and and grumpy, old-fashioned nature only adds to the Capricorn effect.

Charlie Swan Twilight

Photo: Summit Entertainment.

Aquarius: You’re Charlie Swan

Although Charlie may be distant and somewhat of a loner, he proves that Aquarians are incredibly loving and devoted underneath their aloof exterior. Charlie Swan has enjoyed a resurgence as the ultimate unsung hero of the Twilight universe and his status as father to Bella—a woman who’s surrounded by supernatural energy—only adds to his Aquarian charm. Of course an Aquarius would wind up with a kid who falls in love with a vampire! These fixed air signs have a way of attracting quirky and unconventional energy. Even though he would rather not know too much about Bella’s strange world, he remains ready and available should she ever need him (much like an Aquarius).

Alice Cullen Twilight

Photo: Summit Entertainment.

Pisces: You’re Alice Cullen

Alice Cullen is the most whimsical, empathetic and open-hearted character in Twilight. Vampires are often depicted as having no soul, but Alice’s compassionate mature forces you to question whether that may actually be true. She has visions of future events and is the first one to pick up on danger when it’s in the distance. Everyone knows a Pisces with an incredibly strong connection with their intuition and psychic senses, which is why the only zodiac sign that could capture Alice’s all-around mystical qualities would have to be Pisces.

There’s a reason taste can be one of the most powerful of the five human senses, as it allows us to become one with the earth. When you feel a taste explosion in your mouth, it always leaves you wondering how the natural world could possibly create such a unique and unforgettable flavor. It’s enough to make you believe in magic. That’s why it’s unsurprising that each zodiac sign is associated with a food or cuisine, as the ingredients at our disposal each carry spiritual meanings of their own.

If you’ve been struggling to enjoy your meals and you’ve found yourself in a dietary slump, you may be surprised to find that astrology can point you in that direction. Not only do your moon sign, Mercury sign and Venus sign directly correlate with your taste in food, but there’s also an astrological house that describes the types of flavors and textures that may be to your liking. Look to the zodiac signs that rule over your second house of sensuality and stability and your sixth house of food and nutrition, as it will show you what your ideal dining and culinary experience might look like.

When we eat food only for sustenance, it becomes a chore rather than a moment of personal ecstasy. By planning your meals out and basing them on the types of food that respond to your birth chart, you’ll rediscover the magic of tasting something incredible all over again. After all, food is medicine (and a balm to your soul). Because I’m an astrologer, let’s talk about the cuisine your zodiac sign would love, along with a restaurant recommendation that will blow your mind:

The Food & Cuisine Associated With Each Zodiac Sign

Charcuterie Board

Aries

Appetizers & Raw Bar

You love a meal that’s easy to prepare, easy to eat and easy to share! When you’re thinking of dishes to serve or restaurants to invite your friends, the first thing you think of is whether the appetizers are good. You’re a sucker for endless nachos, oysters on the half shell and charcuterie boards that look too pretty to eat. You’re perfectly happy with ordering four different starter dishes that you can sample throughout the night instead of an entrée, as long as it’s being served with a cocktail that leaves you longing for another.

Persian & Mediterranean Food

You’re ruled by Venus, planet of taste and pleasure, which means that no other zodiac sign has a palate as refined as yours. You love sweet and subtle flavors that titillate the imagination. Flavors like pistachio, saffron and rose, which are present in so many dishes offered in Persian cuisine as well as Mediterranean, leave you thinking of poetry. And because you never want to leave the dinner table feeling anything less than full, you can never fit your many skewers of koobideh and your extra helpings of ghormeh sabzi onto one plate. In your opinion, you can never have too many rice dishes, which is another reason you’ll keep coming back to try more.

You’ve got much on your mind and many places to be, but there’s always one type of food you can rely on—Mexican food. You love the convenience and the pleasure of eating a street taco in two bites and the electricity of sharing a bowl of freshly made guac with some friends. You love the lively atmosphere involved with sharing a Mexican-style meal and the way it never fails to refill your tank when you’re hungry. Plus, the added spices and the unexpected peppers always make eating a thrilling, full-body experience. Throw a sweet and smoky mezcal cocktail in there for good measure and we’re in business!

Cancers live on the beach and thrive where the land meets the water, which is why eating seafood could activate super powers in a Cancer. You probably feel like a mermaid whenever you slurp down a freshly shucked oyster drizzled in mignonette sauce. You feel satisfied with the feeling of having chopsticks in your hand and being able to gracefully place a bright pink rainbow roll directly into your mouth, because you love the way sushi makes you feel safe.

That’s why it’s important to make breakfast fun, which is why you know where all the best brunch spots are and you know which diners are open 24/7. The smell of waffles and maple syrup paired with a strong cup of coffee gets your mojo going. Justin Just Reacted to Jen Denying Claims Brad ‘Left’ Her Because She ‘Wouldn’t Give Him a Kid’ https://stylecaster.com/justin-theroux-jennifer-aniston/ https://stylecaster.com/justin-theroux-jennifer-aniston/#respond Fri, 11 Nov 2022 18:48:15 +0000 https://stylecaster.com/?p=1340612 A supportive ex! Justin Theroux just reacted to Jennifer Aniston opening up about her infertility issues. The Mosquito Coast star expressed his love for his ex-wife when she posted about her tell-all Allure cover story.

On November 9, Jennifer posted a picture of her Allure cover shoot on her Instagram. “End of an era. Thank you @allure for making me the cover girl of your very last print issue 🤍🥹,” she captioned the post. In the accompanying cover story, The Morning Show star revealed her baby journey and her struggles with infertility. Justin commented two encouraging emojis on the post, “👊 ❤.” Many fans took note of the exes interaction with each other and replied to his comment, “We stan a healthy post relationship! ❤🔥🙌

The Friends actress explained how she felt when rumors kept on swirling if she wanted to get pregnant or not during her five-year marriage with Brad Pitt. “I’d gone through really hard shit, and if it wasn’t for going through that, I would’ve never become who I was meant to be,” she told the magazine. “I was trying to get pregnant. It was a challenging road for me, the baby-making road.” She talked about her multiple attempts to have a baby, and how the time was especially “hard.” “I was going through IVF, drinking Chinese teas, you name it. I was throwing everything at it. I would’ve given anything if someone had said to me, ‘Freeze your eggs. Do yourself a favor.’” However, she mainly had a problem with the media and the ongoing “narrative that I was just selfish.” She continued, “I just cared about my career. And God forbid a woman is successful and doesn’t have a child. And the reason my husband left me, why we broke up and ended our marriage, was because I wouldn’t give him a kid. It was absolute lies. I don’t have anything to hide at this point.”

Jennifer and Justin announced their separation in 2018 following two years of marriage and six years together. In their statement, the former couple made clear that they were “best friends” and would continue to maintain the “love” they had for one another. “This decision was mutual and lovingly made at the end of last year. We are two best friends who have decided to part ways as a couple, but look forward to continuing our cherished friendship,” their announcement read. “Normally we would do this privately, but given that the gossip industry cannot resist an opportunity to speculate and invent, we wanted to convey the truth directly. Whatever else is printed about us that is not directly from us, is someone else’s fictional narrative. Above all, we are determined to maintain the deep respect and love that we have for one another.”

Other people who reacted to Jen’s story include her other ex-husband, Brad Pitt. A source close to Brad told Hollywood Life about how the Bullet Train actor feels about her decision to be candid in the interview. “Brad respects Jennifer’s decision to come clean about her struggles with infertility,” the insider said. “The two of them have had their ups and downs and they are very much friends today.”

The Best Procrastinator-Proof E-Gift Cards That Are Easy To Buy & Send Online https://stylecaster.com/best-e-gift-cards/ https://stylecaster.com/best-e-gift-cards/#respond Fri, 11 Nov 2022 17:45:24 +0000 https://stylecaster.com/?p=1178892 Traditionally speaking, giving a gift card or chunk of cash as a holiday gift gets a bad rap, but it doesn’t have to be a last-minute gift that looks like you put zero thought into it at all whatsoever. While social distancing limitations have eased a bit this year, many of us will still be celebrating the holidays with our loved ones virtually, which means giving e-gifts over the Internet is more acceptable than ever before. Besides, in all reality, gift cards allow the giftee in question to get whatever they want, so you don’t have to do the guesswork to try to figure it out. However, shipping gift cards in the mail is risky—sadly, they’re often stolen en route.

Look, I’ll admit it—I’ve definitely been one to scurry into the nearest grocery store to pick out a last-minute (and super generic) gift card on my way to Christmas gift exchanges with my family in the past (I mean, I highly doubt my grandmother wanted a gift card to Home Depot, but hey, that’s all that was left) but now, it’s so darn easy to buy and send thoughtful e-cards online from stores and services that the giftee in question will actually love—and it takes even less time than sprinting to the CVS around the block and checking out IRL. Scroll through below to check out some of the best last-minute e-gift cards you can buy and send online without looking like a massive procrastinator.

This Mascara Is So Volumizing, Shoppers Say You ‘Won’t Need Fake Lashes At All’—& It’s Down to $24 Right Now https://stylecaster.com/beauty/kjaer-weis-im-possible-mascara/ https://stylecaster.com/beauty/kjaer-weis-im-possible-mascara/#respond Fri, 11 Nov 2022 17:40:26 +0000 https://stylecaster.com/?p=1277916 If you purchase an independently reviewed product or service through a link on our website, STYLECASTER may receive an affiliate commission.

Mascara is perhaps one of the most trusty makeup products in your lineup. When you wake up late and are rushing out the door, defining your eyes with a swipe of mascara makes all the difference. When you’re transitioning your look from day to night, applying another coat adds a nice little pick-me-up. Mascara seriously can do no wrong and neither can Kjaer Weis’ Im-Possible Mascara, especially when it’s down to $24 thanks to the brand’s Single’s Day sale (ends November 12).

It’s high-impact, long-lasting, volumizing and also backed by nourishing ingredients that ensure a clump-free look. If you’ve been dying to find a mascara that actually creates lift, volume and hold with just a few swipes, stop your search because the Im-Possible Mascara is here.

Even better, the bright red case is made from 50 percent recycled plastic and recyclable aluminum and is entirely refillable. Once you run out of the mascara (and we know you will), order a refill for $26 on Kjaer Weis’ site and slip it into its original case. Simple as that!

“Definitely the best mascara in the market. Incredible volume and length. Long-lasting result. Won’t need fake lashes at all,” raved one five-star reviewer.

To dub this product “the best mascara” and one that will replace your falsies is one major claim. To see what they’re talking about, try out Kjaer Weis’ formula for yourself. It’ll be impossible (pun intended) for you to not fall in love with it, especially when its price tag is down from $32 to $24 during the sale.

Kjaer Weis Im-Possible Mascara

We first have to shout out the ingredients that make the Im-Possible Macara so effective at adding volume and definition. Sunflower seed oil is known to promote lash growth and prevent hair breakage and marula oil moisturizes. Meanwhile, anti-inflammatory raspberry water repairs and conditions brittle lashes. This trio of ingredients blends together to create the perfect formula for your lashes, whether you have curly, unruly or stubbornly straight ones.

Plus, the mascara contains certified organic and sustainably sourced beeswax, carnauba wax and acacia gum to make the formula creamy rather than one that easily clumps up on your lashes. Many shoppers can confirm that you won’t have flaky clumps taking over your under-eye area when you’re wearing this mascara.

“Honestly this is the best mascara I’ve ever used,” wrote one shopper. “No clumps, smooth, great lashes. No eye irritation! THE BEST!”

On top of all that, the brush is uniquely-shaped with two different sides for the ultimate dramatic effect. There’s a curved side to create buildable volume and a flat side to create defined length. In the words of Hannah Montana, you get the best of both worlds with this mascara.

And don’t worry about packing it on in layers, resulting in raccoon eyes; the formula won’t smudge everywhere.

“Easy to apply and has good coverage and only one coat gave me good daytime length. The quality is great, doesn’t flake, didn’t travel down my face, washes off easily. Win, win, win!”

Put away your stash of falsies and get nourished, volumized, lengthened lashes with Kjaer Weis’ Im-Possible Mascara.
