Not sure I like the addition of yet another configuration. People should not have to care about this internal optimization.

I misunderstood #17439 as that there even isn't a way anymore to prevent the cache file from being loaded. Updating the documentation indeed looks more reasonable (see symfony/symfony-docs#6263).
